You see, the O stands for Organic, so the display is degrading over time and faster depending of it's usage. The yellowish tint is caused because the blue subpixels are degrading faster than the others, and what happends when you mix red and green? Yup, yellow. My old SIII is still doing fine even if the yellow is becoming more prominent over time. Maybe you could consider to retire this 4-years old device for a more recent device. Justthe fact thatit's stuck on 5.0.1 should motivate you to do so.
