So everything is alright in your sis phone. Thats good to hear. Jellybean was great on note 3. Smoother and no lags. But im hoping my apps will work on it.

Maybe they will send system updates out to fix some bugs in it like they did in kitkat. Lets hope they do. But i read note 3 is getting 5.0.1 lollipop which comes with bug fixes.

Dont know why... moreAndroid 5.0 Lollipop does bring a few new settings for notifications: you have a do not disturb settings (where no notifications pass through), you have a priority mode (where you can set notifications from certain apps and callers to filter through), and you have a volume slider that controls all notifications.
That slider however can only go down to ‘vibrate’, so that if you want to completely silence your phone while still receiving notifications from all people and apps, you have to do some complicated adjustments in priority mode.
Users are complaining that if you’re in a meeting or in the library and want to discreetly stay in touch with the world you cannot do that easily by just pressing the volume down button to silence the phone. Hopefully, Google takes note and brings that option back in a future update (:

Lollipop 5.0.1 support many of apps and don't forget its a BIG update! So there r many changes. Jellybean to Kitkat nothing new.
Kitkat made my Note 3 hungry all times lol where jellybean makes my note 3 on diet! :D

the problem is with the screen it self i have googled it and found many results describing the same exact case . It appears to be a side efect of sAMOLED if you have note 3 please try viewing a black video or imge and tell me if you notice any wierd purple smearing
