I am sure it will be a good decision. Cheap branded phones does not long last or stay smooth in their performance for a long time.

All good things cost money and will come to a end eventuaĺy.blondi will be in forum still.she has note 1 and 3 so not alls lost m8ty ;-)

but kikat wasnt such bad update (since it solved gaming lag on my s4 mini) except i cant get root access anymore without losing warranty..

AnonD-53316, 30 Dec 2014Totally agree, I would prefer going for budgeted phone from... moreJust checked on cex.com and they will give me £285 for my white one in A condition which it is.plus £10 for the guismos as in desk top charger and spare battery and 2 leather cases so £295.black one they will give you £274 in A condition without guismos.so monday im selling then il shop round for a budget phone.which one i dont know.but must have 1gb ram minimum. radio and accept 32gb sd card.so il make the most of it while i have it ;)

[deleted post]CORRECT ! but when you fawk out a lot of money for a flagship phone and lets face it £750 for a mobile phone is a lot then you expect to be looked after down the line.my staircase landing and hall way cost lest than that just to be carpeted b4 xmas.cars. washing mashines, dish washers now get upto 24months service,programes updated the lot,so no more flagships for me.my note 3 will be sold in new year.will i miss it then yeah i will,but gota sell it b4 mother board goes or else its just an expensive brick.money in bank and a nice budget phone that does the same job ;-)

Now see the GALAXY S4 i purchased 21 May 2013 for 41500 INR and now its for 22000 INR almost half! So if i sell my S4 now i won't get more than 14-15k. Hug loss in just 1 year LOL.

It is better to buy a different brand than samsung,
atleast the loss of money will be less if not satisfied by the performance of the phone.
examples of samsung phones left unsolved:
1). Galaxy s-advance{Dual core, 768mb ram).
Updated from gingerbread to Jellybean, which resulted in huge lagging. Why such updates.
No solution provided.
2). Galaxy S2(dual core, 1gb ram).
yellow Screen issue, camera pictures blackish.
No solution provided.
3). Galaxy S3(quad core, 1gb ram).
Overall a good phone.
4). Galaxy S4(Octa core, 2gb Ram, full hd screen).
Purple smearing/Tint, Lagging all around, games lagging.
No solutions till date.
5). Galaxy Note 3(Octa core, 3gb Ram, full hd screen).
Purple screen tint in darkness.
No solutions provided.
6). Galaxy s5
Purple Screen smearing in darkness.
No solutions till date.
So, why waste huge bucks only for the name of samsung.

samsung, you should focus more on software optimization instead of hardware.
there is no point in purchasing an octa core
S4, if it lags in playing games, so its a waste.
so please do provide support and solution to your valuable customers.. dont leave us unanswered...!!

crappy user interface.

AnonD-337310, 30 Dec 2014Samsung has good resale value in india compared to Sony and... moreAfter watching the performance of Moto E, G and X, sometimes I think there is no point of spending Rs.50000/- on a phone and reselling it after few months or a year for about 20000/-. There are chances I will stop buying flagships as they released, if you want to buy go for it after a year of release you will get value for money and less losses. As now a days value for money is less as in case of Note Edge released in India for Rs.65000/- doesn't makes any sense. We can get a 150cc bike for it and still get a good resale value for it. Lol. In India best resale value is for Iphones next is Samsung.

From that day I never prefer HTC.
