It's been a year since this beautiful elegant device was launched and still it comes in top 8 devices by daily interest (carrying 44% popularity.

I haven't seen any device except SII for that long. Correct me If I am wrong.

Secondly about the update I received couple of days before. It increased battery timings 6 to 7 hours plus a new security update was installed and more smoothness added (although its difficult to feel)

Thanks Samsung

The iPhone also uses Gorilla glass. It too breaks from a fall. We highly doubt you had an insurance. You were posting about warranty. If you really did had insurance, you had poor skills in fighting for your right as a customer.

One of the things I hate people referring to anything from the Note 1 size with the word "phablet". Manufacturers like Sony Nokia or Samsung don't even advertise it as "phablet". Geez. I'm glad Samsung isn't going to do anything crazy like going bigger with the original Note series. They know top pocket size should be key for buyers like me.

The Note 3 is what I'd carry in just my pocket at times when I don't need my bigger devices to do something.

You giving out your "proof" of purchase wouldn't mean anything. Just stop trolling your lies here. And the S Pen is variably what Nokia missed with the 1520, or else I'd buy one.

Note 3 can have a s-pen, in reality everyone can always do without it, that's why s5 doesn't have one. Talking about pocket friendliness, Lumia 1520 is not a phone, it is a phablet. I bought a phablet, so I am well aware of the size, it exactly what I need for my office work.
You doubt if I owned note 3, here is what I'll do, I will scan the receipt, snap the phone and the box and send you the IMEI. I am really bitter about how Samsung deceived me.
Wake up, there is nothing special about note 3, come to the light of true mobile phone.

Well, that's something you should fight for. Does it cover cracked screen? Or probably you're just trolling us here. I know people who used their insurance to have things fixed without questions.

I'm sure your 1520 is working out fine. With the Note 3 being more pocket-fitting than a 1520, and more productive with the S Pen for drawings for my designing needs, I'd rather keep my Note 3. In the 9 months I've been using it, it never restarted by itself.

I'm fine with the way Windows work, and I've seen how fluid it is for its W-Phone OS. I have a full Windows 8.1 working well for my Alienware laptop, and I've recently been using the 8.1 RT version with a Microsoft Surface 2. Wonderful experience with the Surface 2 - thin, light, full keyboard cover, FULL Office, 200GB of OneDrive for 2 years, kickstand, magnesium alloy body, and outstanding battery life.

It would be nice to complete the set with a Windows Phone, but even with the 1520 being offered at only $250 some weeks back at a local store. I just couldn't justify buying it knowing that the Note 3 is very good, and nothing that the 1520 features are compelling enough.

Bottom line is, you even bought a Note 3 (or you didn't actually). And you were sourgraping in your last post (wow, you didn't know that the Lumia 1520 was also plastic build?). Sorry, I've been using the Note 3 for 9 months now, and I'm pretty sure it's the best and most versatile device in its class to date.

                        Hi Friends,

3 days back I bought Note 3 9005 (hong kong version) it is working fantastic except one issue

If I turn Wifi off or data connection off and after few hours if I try to put it on or if I am out of range and after that whenever I get network signal back, I am unable to connect to WIFI or mobile data
I need to restart my handset and then it works fine. This is happening 2-3 times a day.

Please could you help with your expert opinion?

But, Samsung refused to change the cracked screen, saying that I don't register it on purchase, even though I paid for the insurance already, that's gimmick.
You said your Samsung doesn't get hot, freeze and restart. Everyone here knows that Samsung phones get hot, freeze and restart. That's why Samsung can never make a non-removable battery phone, cos when it freezes you guys have to remove your battery. Lumia does not freeze.
A lot is expected from a high-end phone like note 3, quite frankly it is only good for gaming and watching videos.
My Lumia 1520 came pre-installed with all my office apps, I don't even need a third party, I can a lot more with my Lumia. It is way faster in browsing web pages and getting all my office work done with great ease. Lumia 1520 never gets hot, freeze or restart.
                              It so fluid to use.
