Here choose each unnecessary app and choose force stop and disable. You can choose force stop alone for the apps that do not have disable feature. Such force stopped apps will not run even after the next restart of the phone unless you open them before restarting.
Turn off GPS. Reduce the display time to 30 seconds or less. Turn on the radio communications (WiFi, bluetooth) only when you need it. Do not believe or purchase the battery saving apps as they are crap.

For me the LG G3 satisfies me in all aspects. Because samsung n9005 is not compatible with the Indian 4G networks which use 2600 MHz frequency. This is where all 4G handsets lag behind.
About note 3 :
In Al Ghanim electronics Kuwait, they are providing optional international warranty on most of the handsets. Checkout.

Hi, to be frank me a fashion photographer, I travel a lot and phones are my craze, I happened to use all the below mentioned phones, the LG, Nokia, Motorolla, Sony and Samsung. Even though I found a few cons with my Note 3, when compared to all other models, it stood way ahead. Please stop critisizing the Note 3 for the few negatives it has and do try to look at the overall performance. It will seriously help you change your mind. As far as I am concerned to go hand in hand, my personal and professional life, no other phones could even come a bit near to what Note 3 does. And also please note, this review page is for Note 3 users to know thier pros and cons, share their issues and clarify them, you need to talk about another modek, there are review pages available for those models. Please do check them out. I use a Note 3, 9005, 4g LTE variant, bought from Oman. Even though it lacked Indian warranty, till now the samsung stores in India have helped me to clarify and rectify all my doubts. With regards, Karthik.

It would probably have to wait until the Note 4 comes out, because usually the older Samsung devices get a new Android version when a new flagship with the latest software gets released. But 4.4.2 is enough for now isn't it?

I have had the Note 3 for about 10 months of heavy use (no case) and the edges are still perfect except for a couple of very very light scratches around the charging port.
EDIT: I have just goggled note 3 edge peeling and there isn't a single mention of the issue... GO AWAY YOU LYING TROLL!!
