The back texture feels very soft, completely much more pleasurable than the flat backs of certain "premium" devices out there. I hope the water resistance and soft back will be with the Note 4.

The SideSync app (Tcool mentioned before) works wih the 4.4.2 update. The screen of your Note 3 can either be via USB connected or wifi (you need to be connected to a wifi modem network, and Note 3's hotspot will not work as the Note 3 is screen mirroring using a Direct Wifi).
You can remote your Note 3 via your PC or compatible tablet - once you can install the SideSync app for it. Files can be transferred wirelessly to your pc. Your videos from your Note 3 will be streamed to your PC. Everything works except camera remote.
It does strain the battery life faster. It has a certain lag/delay. Benefits? My signal is poor inside the house. So, I place my Note 3 by the window for a better connection. You can monitor or simply control everything from laptop.

Note 3 N-9005 is the best as compared to other region specified modes. I am using it in India with a very fast & blazing Internet speed experience even than the Asian version of this phone. But if anyone wanted to use this try to get a factory unlocked phone rather then getting a locked phone by different carriers. It's much faster & easy to use an unlocked phone like I do have.

I played with the S5, and the screen just blew my mind away! So much more intense and vivid than the Note 3's screen. The new simultaneous wifi & LTE downloading system is something I'd like for faster downloads. It has a very useful battery saving system with Ultra Power Saving. Better camera features. The feeling of the back is that of a soft leather - great on the hand. And it's water-resistant!
I'm just looking forward to the Note 4. I just hope the body will not increase.

Go to their office after code input, enjoy free streaming, but later it will cost much. Go ahead. Rest have only 3G only. LTE is even faster bit rate than 3G even.

I can't return to small screen size even if I want to, badly addicted to the big screen. S5 is good but it raises the expectations for Note 4,so no returning back. Enjoy the S 4,is it Snapdragon or Exynos version. Is black edition available in India, for how much.

I sold Note 3 and bought newly launched galaxy S4 Black Edition. Thanks Tcool, Parbinder, TheNeighbour, Bunnyip and all my friends as I was following your valuable comments since 2012 when I bought Note 2 first time and surely I'll miss all of you.
I sold it bcoz I never felt comfortable with Note series specially outdoors. I know I'll miss big screen and spen. But I found various similarities in Note 3 and S4 except 4k recording. But I feel comfortable with 5" screen of s4.
I know it depends that how we use Note series. But I rarely used spen which is main concern of this device and got this decision.
