It destroys your note3 screen a... moreAs we have already seen from my last post, the Note 3 blows your T2 Ultra out of the water in terms of specs and performance. I remember you posting here that you said the Note 3 was so big and clumsy to handle. Well, here you are telling us you have the T2 which is even more bigger in size than the Note 3 and only .5mm thinner than the Note 3. Do you know what a half millimeter is?

Obviously you are jealous of the Wacom digitizer the Note 3 is packing. This is known as the S Pen. It provides pressure sensitive inputs. I don't know if your T2 Ultra really has pencil input like you are bragging. The T2 Ultra is lower mid-end device that GSM Arena didn't bother giving a simple review. And here you are bragging it is better than the Note 3.

The original Z Ultra is 40% off at $471 retail, comes with small squarish bluetooth audio remote clip on accessory, and does that pencil input you brag about. I think you should have wasted your money on a better rubbish device than a T2 Ultra.

There are some problems with this as I found out from my 20 minutes of my personal testing the pencil input:

1. Pencil selection - you can only use broad lead regular wood pencils as mechanical pencils with those .5mm pencil leads will not register. Yeah, you need a sharpener handy too if your point breaks. Don't even try ballpoint pens, or any type of pens for that matter!

2. Pencils smudges - as I suspected when I first heard about this Sony's concept of pencil as stylus input, the pencil will leave pencil lead marks on the glass screen. I draw with a pencil on paper, but it's ridiculous that my hands would get pencil lead marks from my smartphone's screen. You'd need to constantly wipe clean your screen after every time you use a pencil on the screen.

3. Inaccurate input - the pencil input skips, and almost half the time will not register. Look at my actual video of it:

4. No pressure control and palm rejection - The pencil input will only give you a uniform line all the time, and you must be careful from your hand or fingers touching the screen while pencil input. It results in creating extra lines you never intended:

The S Pen on the Note 3 is conveniently situated on the bottom right when you need it. It has pressure input, meaning you can control the thickness of your lines to give them a natural look. The more the pressure, the thicker the line. The lesser the pressure, the thinner the line. I appreciate this as a visual hobbyist artist, being able to input lines and colors accurately as I intended when drawing.

Hi all I'm about to buy this beast!! But I want to know how much ram is available when the phone is in idle..that's how much of 2.4gb ram will be available for users..
I asked this qs coz my earlier Sammy phone gave me hectic headache of low ram..pls do reply asap

You remind me of of someone else who keep coming here to brag how great the iPhone 5s is, only to find out that he uses a 5c. It's the same for you, bragging about the Xperia Z2 but you bought a T2 Ultra instead. Its more like a downgrade from your already sub-par Z1.

Hahahaha. Simply ridiculous to be even mention you got a T2 Ultra at all. You'd even have a harder time carrying the T2 Ultra in your pocket than a Note 3!

Haha! Somebody didn't do their research.

Battery life is great and awesome and enough for a gamer. S pen the most useful thing if you know how to use it properly. And it dosnt deteriorate the screen in any manner..

Of course, spen is a useless stick and it is busy for your daily life
In My t2 ultra , voice memo, screen short,sketch apps and 10 spens( I mean 10 fingers) are better than CLUMSY spen and they are easy to use in real life and are not a busy way
In T2: WiFi is very good in even weak signal ( Here note 3 has bad result)
Note3 has to take charge twice a day for gamers and normal user
In my T2: Battery life is very very good!
It lasts full 2 days although I am a heavy user and I makes make heavy multitasking
So I think T 2 ultra is for you!
I suggest that all note 3 users upgrade T2 ultra with amazing battery life and T2 use one chipset UNLIKE note 3*****

As a phablet phone, it should have good battery life!
My new Sony Xperia t2 ultra is better better than note 3 in all the ways
In my t2 ultra!
(1) screen is crystal clear with IPS trialuminos display , it also feature bravia Engine 2* t2 has full of natural colours
(2) Battery life is the most awsome detail of t2 ultra
It last full 2 days although I am a heavy user
(3) Never lags even when I am using heavy multitasking!
(4) T2's Ominibalance Unibody design is very cool
(5) T2 is slimmer than note3 and has bigger screen and weight is almost equal !
(6) Camera(13 mp) is nice in day&night mood
(7) T2's price is affordable for everyone and T2 always use one chipset worldwide and you can happily buy T2 ultra with same chipset and same performance in every part of the world

Unfortunately Sony is known for poor battery life, poor screens and massive bezels. Things have improved with the Z2 but they still need some work.

The Xperia Z lineup has so far been lacking in quality, like most have sub-par screens with bad viewing angles, short battery usage per charge, bleeding internal lights into the camera, and now 4K video overheating and side gaps.

I'd want you to point out any of those problems about the Note 3. There is none. You brag about the Snapdragon 801 - very slight gains from the 800 and nothing to brag about that either.

The Note 3 is over 6 months old, and there is no embarrassing quality and performance issue that Sony has been producing. Point us to any links about it. Professional Links.

Just look at those pictures! Now you're not even mentioning anything about 4k recording because the Z2's system crashes from utilising that. Sony even advices to use 4k recording a few minutes at a time and just use micro SD card to get it working. Those gaps are just waiting for water to come in. Now you shouldn't be bragging about how "waterproof" the Z2 is. Tsk tsk. Was this the quality you were bragging about?

You are the one jealous coming here to tell yourself that the Z2 is better than the Note 3... Not! Hahaha, you even have to wait till June for Sony to fix the problems the Z2 has. By that time, people would have moved on to better and newer models.
