S SUDHAKAR, 13 Mar 2014In some parts of India EDGE is fast (15 KB/s). I have exper... moreWith 15kbps, I'd just keep my old 2009 Sonyericsson J220.

Yeah, just stick to your N8 should suite you fine, and no need to have a Note 2 to complain about battery. Just no point without faster speeds like up to 300kbps on 3G and up to 2mbps on LTE like what I get on my unlimited data service.

You should write a strong letter your device provider to help give you the data speed you want. Your posts about your complaints here are useless and waste our time.

[deleted post]illiterate & senseless is someone who did not know what is a bluetooth with a built in radio & why is there a removable battrey concept and samsung strives to not omit that feature eg: s5 even after being a water and dust resistant phone it still has a removable battrey..lol..
btw i am also in india and if u r smart enough u can play smart and turn things here to ur advantage b it 2g,3g, broadband , wi fi ,data cards etc and most importantly selecting the data plans there r lots of work arounds ,and understand techology instead of crying like a baby all day, u better listen to someone who said "Can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen"

@ Sudhakar: Answer decently and specifically if you want to continue here:
Just let us know what are the apps you use on daily basis on your symbian N 8 and your Note 2.

            SMSes and Calls.
            Internet and Social Apps.
Any high end games you play.
For what purpose you use your phone on daily basis.

Sudhakar, you should talk... moreWe all tried a lot to make him understand each and every issue he raised but still he is standing where he started. According to him, phones are becoming laptops, no phone can beat Symbian battery back up. He again started using the same old words. He is hopeless no one on this earth can make him understand and accept android. Android will be relieved if it goes far from his hand.

Sudhakar, you should talk on facts.

                Technological facts.

If based on technological facts, we all will have a good conversation.

You brag all times, you make android shameless, you make google shameless, you make mobile cellular shameless, you make me and all shameless. By this you will only gets brag in replies.

Try to beat others with technological facts, they will listen you more and if genuine they will take you as a source of interest.

No one hates anyone here, but seriously Paragb, Parbinder, Neighbor, Tcool really talks about facts, so it comes in to general understanding.

                Thanks

[deleted post]Thank you my good friend, well said this is also my country case; Ethiopia. Most of these days it's hard even to make a voice call but my friend they are "upgrading the network to 4g "they say. Most of the people were trying to know about 3g.

TheNeighbor, 13 Mar 2014Hahahaha! I should have said data speeds. 2G, 2.5G, 3G, 3.5... more4G is theoritically faster. But the shameless mobile operators crap the speeds.

Now in India, 2G data speed is dead, 3G data speed is in coma and 4G data is like a vehicle which has departed for a long trip without enough fuel (it may fail anytime).

[deleted post]Don't you think this is more handy and comfortable to use than the wired headset you use on your built-in radio?
                              http://sa.jabra.com/Products/Bluetooth/JABRA_TAG/Jabra_TAG

It's not the only one, there are other models, designs and brands.

[deleted post]Further more, of you really read the article:

"Remember, more MHz means a better connection, so the more 'x GHz' of spectrum, the more widespread and robust a network can be."

That's why I said higher frequency.

Edge and GPRS are the slowest I've encountered to download full website versions. It can work with WAP versions.

                                  [deleted post]Hahahaha! I should have said data speeds. 2G, 2.5G, 3G, 3.5G, 4G, 4G-LTE and LTE-A all have different download speeds!

They are not the same. The faster the download speed, the more power consumption.

"LTE can be up to ten times faster than 3G. In practice, the actual network speed will vary based on network load and signal strength. Even if LTE does not meet its theoretical speed, it is still much faster than 3G."

When I said frequency speeds, this was what I meant:
