have just recently bought one and have been loving it, however its just started to delete my files i have on the phones internal memory saying theyre corrupt showing a broken file its stuff half my phone pictures, ill be sending it back and getting my money back. if u spend nearly 900 bucks on a fone youd expect it to work properly not delete your files, samsung yous are a bunch of twats

I can move files from internal memory to SD card. Also able to create folders on memory card and also able to move files within SD card.

even tho i dont use a sd card on my N3, just curious to know, wouldnt they resolve this problem as well along with the update that was supposed to come to solve the third party accessories ??
Also just to inform ul goin, a few who knew (might obviously have forgotten) i found N2 back as well.. Found my lost phone after a month and 20 days. :D.. all thanks to google play store and my luck:D

Does the nexus phone running android 4.5 has card slot?. If yes, has google corrected the SD card access problem?.
Do not update to 4.4 or later.

According to the Kitkat update, "if you need to dump some files on to your phone, your phone’s internal storage may remain the only viable option.". WTF.
It just means the micro SD cats will only function as media storage from somewhere else. Damn. I like dumping my accumulated files after a while to my card. It still can be rooted to get around the problem, but if you're not rooted, it's one disadvantage.
I just see minimization of viruses getting into your device. I get that.

Can any regular note 3 posters (not iPhone or Nokia trolls) using 4.4 confirm this? If so I won't be updating.
Google is obsessed with cloud and small internal storage... They must think that everyone has access to fast and unlimited data all the time.... DONT BE SO, STUPID GOOGLE!

The shameless google has imposed restrictions on SD card usage in android 4.4 onwards. Did anyone know about this?. Search google with the keywords 'microsd card access problem in android 4.4'. Then you will come to know.
The restrictions (when the memory card is used in android 4.4 (or later) based mobiles* are :
> Cannot copy or move files and folders from internal memory to SD card.
> Cannot receive files to memory card (via WiFi or bluetooth)
> Can only download files (not via torrent softwares) to memory card.
> Cannot create a folder or sub folder in the SD card.
> Cannot copy or move files within the SD card.
> We can only read and format the SD card and set the storage for camera pictures and videos to SD card (not to specific folders, just in common).
> Usage of all file managers is restricted.
* means - not via card reader.
