AnonD-67893, 09 Feb 2014Ah, ok that's not good :| Anyway, thanks all for the reply..Anyway, I believe mobile phone nowadays are considered restricted personal property, it should not be shared with other people even family members.
It is like your toothbrush or underwear. LOL!

So no problem with the so called "Hide applications" feature since you can set the lock screen password for security.

And if you can afford to buy Note 3, there is no reason why you can't afford to buy phones for each family members.
There are lots of low cost tablets/mobile phones for children.

I live in Iran and I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N9000). However, N9005 was available, when I wanted to buy the Note 3 (N9000) I took some facts - lack of 4K shooting and 4G support in my country - into consideration and went for N9000. I am really satisfied with the phone's performance and functions, but I would like to know if I have made the right decision. :)

A geek, 09 Feb 2014-1&3:you say it's not sufficient, and has shorter life.T... moreFor your information, I have a 7000mAh capacity power bank for over a year now. I still use it occasionally for long trips and powering up my devices like my Galaxy Note 8 which has a fixed battery.

But for my daily routine, I carry my Galaxy Note 3 only with a spare battery.

1&3: The most effective way to charge a battery is to turn off the device. Heat is the number one enemy and shortens the life cycle of the DEVICE's battery. Keeping your device on or worse, using it while charging generates more heat.

2: Wearing out the micro USB port does happen, power connection loosens. I know two people who had their devices fixed with that problem and had to wait days to get them back.

4: A power bank is heavy and mine is 22mm thick and I don't carry a bag with me all the time. Do you like carrying something twice heavier and more than twice the thickness of your device every day?

5: You can stop your ignorant acting. There are battery cradles that you place your empty battery to be charged, and you need to connect it with the charger powered by the electrical outlet. You DON't need to be hassled by waiting to using the device as the ONLY place to get your battery charged. Is that clear enough for you?

Here's a picture of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Battery set. It comes with a battery case too:

                        http://www.flickr.com/photos/92800985@N06/12380333583/

Yeah, a battery cradle is also an "independent accessory". It's an easy plug and sleep for the night. The difference is, you don't waste your time and energy like carrying a power bank, at home or elsewhere to keep things juiced up.

You better come up with more reasonable stuff with your Sony Xperia user experience with a fixed battery. Can you list 10? Ok,make that 5 good advantages of carrying a power bank. So far, all you came up with is "Sammy paid trolls are only one s who appreciate it."

Battery bank still needs to be recharge at home, so you can use it again the following day, it would be the same scenario with an extra battery pack charging at home using a separate compatible battery charger.

Higher than Android JB 4.1 no longer supports that feature.

A Geek, 09 Feb 2014Sure using a second battery isn't a thing that just a geek... moreMake a survey. Nobody talks about it. Battery kits are being sold everywhere. You mostly see power banks being used because of iPhone users and other users of uni-bodied devices. You think carrying a power bank is way more efficient? State reasons that make sense.

I'm one who use this more practical method of changing batteries when needed, and charging the spent one at home. What's complicated about that?

I've already enumerated 10 good reasons for a removable battery system, and I've given the small number of advantages of a fixed battery system. Can you name more?

Is this eating you up since you are an Xperia user who is justifying the constant usage of a power bank to keep your Sony Xperia device alive daily?
