I had to actually open the seal of the original cover and try if it works. it did , and thats why bought it . So good luck with ur cover . Hope there is an update soon as well to get rid of all the glitches.

Further my s-view cover is no... moreBro, apparently there is a thing along with the upgrade that you cannot use the cheaper imported S view covers after the upgrade. You have to purchase the original Samsung authorized S view cover which cost around 3.3k .
Sadly Samsung claim that there is no connection of 4.4 update and Samsung that the cover isint functioning. They claim that they want us to use original samsung certified products just so every accesory u use is full compatible with the phone .
The only difference between the imported cover and samsung authorized cover is the chip which has been placed on the back side of the cover.
Apparently samsung is working on a update to give us which might allow us to use the imported covers as well which should be fully functional .
I advice you to google about the same problem. And either wait for them to give the update and try using the cover u have, or else u could also buy the original S view cover from any samsung store .
I did the same . i bought a new cover exactly 10 days after purchasing the imported cover for 1200.

My S-view cover is not working after I updated my note 3 to 4.4.2 Kit Kat. Do anybody facing the same problem. .or any one know the solution. ..

Ah guys, sitting and compairing phones here is not the idea of this forum. If ul dont like the Note 3 or Samsung in particular i dont think anyone has forced u all to come to this page and comment anything about it . If ul are Iphone fans, that is respectable and ul can happily talk about the good and bad of the Iphone on the Iphone forum. Why spoil this forum for the note 3 and Samsung fans ? No one has put a gun on anyones head and said to buy the note 3 or to buy Iphone . Everyone has different likes and dislikes . I was told the Iphone 5s, i didnt , but not because i dont like the phone! I didnt because i like to have with Alot of features inbuilt (even tho i use it or not), but i prefer having features for something that im paying 45k.
I had a note 2 before this which I unfortunately forgot it in the rickshaw (not yet got it back, tho almost traced the theive. Just waiting to get his number now). But i know that somehwere down the line this phone is not goin to let me bored when im alone . Cause of its features and also cause of the Spen . so ya . Guys chill out . Peace . Sorry if offended anyone from this post :)

Currently, I don't have any m... moreI'd advise the Note 4. It'd have a finger print scanner if the S5 would get once this year (although that feature is easier for somebody to force you to unlock the device in dangerous situations).
I hope they get some security app that would record video, finger print of the culprit after a number of tries and email those info to a designated person.

Recently I just updated my note 3 to Kit Kat 4.4.2 and the s view cover stopped working. The point is would i be able to restore back the previous OS without dropping by to the Samsung Service Centre. In addition i noticed that the battery drained a bit faster after the upgraded. Hope Samsung would release a newer firmware to fix the issue.

Hey Guys, I have a question
Currently, I don't have any money available to buy Note 3, but I am now saving for it and hope at Summer I will have all the money I need.
When that happens, should I directly go buy the phone, or wait 3 months for the Note 4 to come out and probably save some more money in those 3 months to buy the Note 4, or maybe Buy the Note 3 after its price drops down and use that saved money in something else ????

I travel all over the world, will the N9005 (Unlocked) work in countries like Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Asia along with European Countries?
I have read conflicting information, so if someone is in the know, I would very much appreciate your assistance before I purchase this phone.

i really like this phone but can't efford 2 buy such a beautiful Samsung Galaxy Note 3. m poor, its a dream come true 4 me. u all are rich n so lucky.
