Is there a performance difference between the Snapdragon 800 and Samsung Exynos 5 Octa (1.9 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 + 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7) Core variants in terms of UI fluency thanks in advance.

Never ceases to amaze me the sheer amount of technology they can pack into these devices, ok it is a fair old size so there's more room than your average phone but even so, it's a hell of an achievement.
My only niggle is that in spite of the enormously powerful processor, the vast amount of RAM, that gorgeous 4K HD screen plus the plethora of various sensors, gadgets, gizmos and what have you i would have at least thought that those clever boffins at Samsung might have considered fitting it with stereo speakers? Specially when it's got stereo microphone recording. The cynical side of me thinks that maybe they didn't want to be seen to be trying to compete wth the HTC one for sound quality, i've not heard it personally but i'm told it's pretty good

I am using Note3 9005 since last couple of weeks...its just superb...no comparison at all.
very good for official work, Facebook VOIP etc.

But I find kingsoft better then polaris and quick office. Will try officesuit as well. Thanks for suggestions friend :)

Learn to swipe type. It's faster than conventional press typing. You can have the keep board in split mode so you can type with your thumbs. It's just getting used to.
I can edit word files easily with Polaris 5. Free from the Samsung app store.

Its been about 2 months now am using not 3. Here's what I love so far.
Big beautiful screen. Love to watch all my seasons playing games texting and mailing.
Battery time is really very good. (Snapdragon version)
Handels all the task easily. I even now download torrent on phone download compressed file and decompress it on phone. Don't even touch my laptop.
But something which am concerned about
first : device feeels someone very uncomfortable. Whener am in bed and try to handle the phone by laying on my back its hard to hold the device properly my hands start hurting and my hands are big. Even writing this comment my left hand is hurting.
2nd software optimisation. Touchwiz is jst too heavy not properly ooptimised. Am won't say that it lag like crazy and occasional hiccups are lot but they are thier on moderate level but when u spend so much u can compensate these moderate hiccups.
Google still unable to fix the system wide scrolling. While browsing my eyez start paining coz browsee feel too glithcy whle scrolling so as other appa and in result feels laggy.
2nd yesterday I tired to send my cv and had to edit the word file and I can't tell how much bad experience I had. I tired 3 to 4 office apps but non of them cant handle a word file , aap held so much and jst cant scroll the page and very slow and really laggy.
Despite the big screen I can't do these taks jst coz the OS is stil not smooth and polished. As compare to that on my iPhone despite th3 small screen I can do thr basic word pressing easily coz the software handel the tasks beautifully. Hope that sammy will fix these problems in upcoming updates of kitkat.
(Sorry my eng not my first lang and used jst online) if u want to ask something abt device plz do and shares yours.

I think we should express the both experiences. Good bad. What are the + what not. That is called the opinion. Jst showing the one side of pic is not right. If someone else can compensate the drawbacks over advantages good for him. But jst encouraging other by not expressing the factor lacking in thr device is not right. I always comment here not jst once but time to time so that I can aware other and others can decide is it good for them or not afterall someone us upto spend his $700.
