I want to buy this phone but can't get the LTE version in my country. Is the 3G version good enough? Looking for something to last me a few years

Finally I bought note 3 yesterday. Thanks to all who helped me taking this decision. It will take some time to get used to it as I have used xperia z1 before. Over all I am feeling good, no problem in single hand operation (that was my biggest fear)...

Highly delusional. Apple products are not the best devices out there for some people who need more than media consuming or plain calls & SMS.

There should never be any compromise when it comes to build quality especially when you charge so much. Anyway sticking with note 2 is also a wise choice because the improvement from note 2 to 3 is about 15%. Both devices are sufficient.

let me clear one thing:
note2 was assembled in south korea,
while note3 assembled in vietnam.
that's why i didn't buy note3 because of the long term quality..
WHY SAMSUNG DIDN'T BUILD THIS PHONE IN KOREA !!
i failed to find note3 that's assembled in korea that's why i didn't buy it and still using note2 ..
and please don't tell me that there is no difference because i used to have S3 that was assembled in vietnam and i was suffering from the quality issue .
high end phone like galaxy note series should build in main factory in korea not in other country.

Samsung did alright with the note 3. But an expensive device like the note 3 should not be so easy to make fake versions of. I have never heard of fake iphones and ipads or many other brands because the higher the quality of a product the harder it is to make fake versions of that product. And customers have peace of mind when purchasing the product. Nonetheless, just purchase from a reputable trusted supplier and all should be well. The note 3 is still one of the best 2013 devices despite a some flaws here and there. And the application instability is still there in android even for such a top device. Work in progress so I am positive.

Not so worth the $250 price.

It's exactly a 3.5/5 - that's not so good. Dafuq! Some tech review sites give it a 8 to 9 out of 10, but to give this a 7 is insulting!
None seems to match its many power, versatility and features.

So far after a week with the note 3 I give it a 7/10. Very good device and ranks 3rd in my list of top devices from 2013. Well done samsung.
