Great device if not overpriced.
So I bought a second hand Note II and a new Z10 Blackberry for the same price.
I am happy. No loss at all not having a Note III.

AnonD-194816, 01 Nov 2013thanks ... but did u try mx player ... its the best player ... moreI just tried the 10 bit 720p file and video and audio work fine on MX player on SW mode. Its a cartoon but it still looks smooth.
The 1080p file is nearly 1GB so i won't try it now.

ps, i'm not INSISTING it have FM i just think it should, the ZU can do it with a snapdragon 800, so should the note 3.

T... morethanks ... but did u try mx player ... its the best player on google store that can play 10bit in 720p that was told in xda forum from a guy who played 720p 10 bit anime on his note 3 and worked fine without any lag
so try mx player and in s/w mode not h/w ... you can tell by the S/W mark on the top right of the video when you open the seek menu within MXPlayer
so i will be glad if u try it and till me what u get

That's really sil... moreIt doesn't need mobile coverage for FM radio. There are a lot of places that have good FM radio reception but poor or no mobile data coverage.
PS because the idea is that a mobile is mobile not stuck on a wifi connection. There are very few plans which include unlimited mobile data.

A smart phone is meant to be an all in one device for calls, messages, music, videos, games, web browsing, emails, contacts, etc etc.
I love my Note 3 but if Samsung can include temperature and barometer sensors they should have included an FM radio (unless there was a technical limitation). Sure 80% of people may never use it but the same can be said of a lot of the GN3 features.

The audio is fine but the 10 bit video stutters and stops. There could be other players that work if you try a few. Cheers
