Let's face it, unless u are 6'6" u will have have a hard time using your note 3 with one hand. But I like Note 3 for reading and browsing and maybe note taking. Now here are some technical comparisons: Battery Life: LG G2 - Web browsing time overall champion vs Note 3-???, Camera: LG G2 has OIS(Optical Image Stabilization) vs Note 3-Has nothing, Ergonomics: G2-has a stunning 5.2" in an edge-to-edge display, bezels are almost negligible, it's comfortable to use with one hand vs Note3 has 2-3x bezel thickness and at 79 mm width it's far u need to use two hands o u better avoid using it while on train and especially on bus. And so on and so forth ...

This is the first Samsung device which is lag free. Lag is almost negligible. This device is must have device. It is truly a beast. Doesn't matter which version u get exynos or snapdragon both are the best in terms of performance and battery life apart from the 4k recording. The mali t628 which is in the exynos version is incompatible with some high end games as it's a very new gpu. But as time passes development will solve this issue. In the end any version u get ull b happy. As far as price is concerned wait for sometime it will go down. Rest this is really an awesome device. There are ample of proper reviews and further more will come and it will stand out as one of the best devices. It's multi tasking is what makes it very useful n takes into a different league so guys go for it. Peace

                  allaboutsamsung (German)
Samsung has recently begun a policy for locking its Android devices to work only in the regions where they are bought from. The usage of the phones and the tablets will depend on the continent where the SIM-card is issued and activated. For example, if you buy and activate a Samsung Galaxy S3 from a European retailer, you will only be able to use it within Europe. The same rule applies for Asia and America as well (North and South). The news about the new policy of Samsung came from UK retailers which reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 devices come in a package with certain sign on it. The sign reads a message with the regions where the device can be used with its full functionality.
Thanks to a statement made by the Samsung Germany, the new rules relate to Android devices produces after the end of July, 2013. The models that will be influenced by the policy are Samsung Galaxy S 3, Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Users will be able to travel and use their devices within the regions included in the lock policy, written in the sign of the box. The stickers on the box reveal that SIM cards issued to a certain continent will not operate on another. There is an option for devices to be unlocked if they are bough from certain region but have never been activated. Users then can take the device to Samsung service partner and get it unlocked.

Alert on the new boxes with devices informs for the new policy of Samsung for SIM-locking the devices

The Korean manufacturer uses the so called MCC lock (Mobile Country Code). It is done through Customer Software Customization white list of countries. Some users can try to remove the lock but this will most likely void the warranty, therefore it is not recommended action. It is still not clear why Samsung has decided to go on this path, especially after it tries to launch devices for business purpose. Modern business people travel a lot which means big inconvenience for those who want to use their phones abroad.

                                    from - india

It's officially available in the Philippines and I got to test it a bit. We're getting the Snapdragon 800, and the Gear Watch is also available. The leather-like back is okay to me. I would not want the back to be the real leather as leather would wear out. No complaints about the user interface. The screen is very brilliantly clear with full HD. The s Pen and neew air trigger app is very resposive. Overall impression is as good as the Note II.

It's now available at Smart free at P2000 ($47) monthly unlimited data postpaid. I'm waiting for 2 months till my old contract expires as I really think it's too much to cash out, at a cost of 3/4 of an Alienware MX14 laptop which I recently bought! And I agree that Samsung should have priced the Gear at $150 to gain more customers for the Note III.
