FM cannot activated with any app on Galaxy Note 3. It is hardware disabled.

Try and think you should cost a lot for plastic waste plate ( instead of other aluminium & glass for excellent feel)
It is rhe same with other note1,2
So you should choose htc one, z1(WP &DP),Z UITRA for wriring your notes, i5s & i5c(fast jnternet surfing and if ou like medium screen)
Instead of note 3 you should buy a note book because note 3 does not have water & dust proof and it cannot write with pen&pencil
If you are a note man, buy Z ULTRA now!!

3G RAM means downloading more apps
In real life how often do you use Spen(it is a trick)?
Can you write other sticks(ballpoint pen,pencil)?
In real world,your phone has to meet water and dust
If you like nice UI, you can use various kinds of launchers.TOUCH WIZ is only a trick,so you can't get a real view of jelly bean
Over saturated Colour &brightness(like comsic
colour) give you eye problem during few years

In reply to my critics.........Point 1 I am no fanboy of ANY manufacturer, I have had iphones 4 & 4s and was dishearted and shocked by the 5 and fed up of being forced to pay for everything from itunes and apple....According to benchmarking the 5s' s A7 processor beats pretty much else on the market but my long theory of apples IOS is that, Thats always going to be problem because of backwards compatibility to earlier devices,64 bit true processing but used on what exactly? I have also had nokias, Htc and my personal favourite Sony Ericsson, Im a techy and radio is dated for me, This was sent from my note 2 lte :-) my new convert from apple because there greedy and overpriced and they even dictate the insurance prices to the networks! When apple get better and not greedy maybes I will get the apple 15 iphone :-) laters people, peace to you all !

I got my hands on a Note 3
I am based in India and have a Note 2
Many Questions
1) Does it have Gorilla Glass 3 - Screen looks really good but will it last a few falls??
2) No Duals SIM - If I am paying full price I want a dual SIM phone
3) Expectations change after Sony - I want IP certified phones
4) Feel a bit odd holding a device knowing fully well that there is a better processor out there at the same price... so why should I buy something of a lower quality.
5) Finally price - seems too high considering battery and screen went up by a small bit (even if I take the rupee deprecation into account) ... It just does not seem worth it.
Note 2 users my impression is to hang on to your note 2 and wait for the update ...
Others...Look at Sony or wait for the Note 4 hopefully they have got their specks right otherwise they will leave the field open to Sony/ Motorola/HTC/LG etc etc

Guys, yesterday I have visited Samsung Gallary in Thane (Mumbai). I saw Note 3. it was Demo Piece. The colour was White. I have nearly operated for 20 minutes. It is very Good Piece. the actual inbuilt memory which we can use is 25 GB. the 64 GB memory card allow us to use upto 59 GB. total is 84 GB. I captured few Photo. the clarity was AWESOME. but there is no Optical Image Stabilisation. Sound of speakers is like Note 2 only,no difference. Processor is very Fast. actual RAM available is only 2.38 GB & not 3GB.
Video Clarity is Awesome. The Actual Piece will Launch within 2 3 days. the price in the Gallary is 49950/-.

Dear Samsung.
The FM radio is important
1. Developing country users listen to the FM radio. There is no data in those countries.
2. Developed country users require FM radio when attending sporting events - FM Broadcast, emergency broadcast.
Please do not drop the FM radio feature. It is still required today.
Do not yield to the operators who insist on making more money on their data plans. Give us the users a choice. It is a feature that many a willing to pay for.

Ip 58 does not effect sound quality ...poor design does.
Incidentally most insurance does cover water damage read the fine print.
Lastly samsung has goofed up on sending this to india without lte and dual sim at least.
Sami no one likes getting substandard specks especially people who accepted you when you were a new company and had no reputation.

I cant believe all you people are complaining about a bleeding fm radio on a smartPHONE!!! Who really listens to radio? Listen to your music and watch tv for news and weather streamed to your phone, I do via my LTE connection :-) also ip58 waterproofing and dust proofing affects sound quality check gsms comments on the xperia z1!!! Lastly if you are stupid enough to drop your £700 gbp phone in water uninsured then more fool you! If you want fm radio with rds etc buy one for gods sake and keep your phone SMART!
