Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specs leaked, no microSD
Prominent leakster @evleaks, who just hours ago gave us a glimpse of a couple of official images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+, has gotten a hold of the Note 5's specs now. Certain things come as no surprise, but other revelations will undoubtedly disappoint more than a few among you.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will come with a 5.66-inch display with QHD resolution. Third generation in a row, the Note series hasn't grown in size after the Galaxy Note 3 established the 5.7-inch sweet spot two years ago.
Rains->Pours. Samsung Noble (SM-N920/self-reported): Exynos 7420 SoC (4x2.1GHz+4x1.5GHz), 5.66" 2560x1440, 4GB/32GB, 16MP/5MP, 5.1.1, no SD.

The source claims that the Note 5 will be powered by the same Exynos 7420 chipset we already know from the Galaxy S6, despite persisting rumors that a refined 7422 version was developed for the phablet. Not that the 7420 isn't already the fastest performer on the market as it is.
Consistent with the established consensus, the Note 5 will come with 4GB of RAM and internal storage is quoted to be 32GB. However, other storage options are possible, or should we say, inevitable, given that the Galaxy Note 5 will not come with a microSD slot for expansion. And while until it's official, hope still remains that this may not be the case, the source has been right on the money more often than not.
Additionally, @evleaks reveals that the primary camera will be a 16MP unit, though there's no confirmation if it will be the new 16MP Samsung sensor, or the Sony-made IMX240 found in the Galaxy S6. On the front Samsung has stayed conservative and installed a 5MP shooter, instead of playing the selfie megapixel game.
Whatever remains unknown is sure to be revealed on August 13, when the official launch of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ is scheduled to take place.
