Samsung Galaxy Note hitting Europe this month [UPDATED]

03 October, 2011

The development of the latest member of the Samsung Galaxy family is obviously ahead of schedule. The Korean company just announced that the 5.3" Galaxy Note phoneblet will be hitting the shelves around Europe before October has ended.

Germany, UK and France will be getting dedicated launch events, which also suggests that they will be the first to receive the Android-powered device. The rest of Europe should follow shortly after that, while Samsung's homeland will be getting the Galaxy Note in November.

To make it up to its compatriots for making them wait another month, Samsung will be equipping the Korean Galaxy Note with LTE connectivity. Adding super-fast network connectivity currently available to the huge HD Super AMOLED and that powerful Exynos chipset is something that should make any Korean geek's heart skip a beat.

Unfortunately, there's still no time frame for the US release of the Galaxy Note, which was confirmed by the FCC a couple of days ago. Pricing remains a mystery too.

Update: Samsung just came out with an official press release and it turns out that the Note will hit UK on November 17. We are yet to see if that change of plans also affects the other European markets.

Man, I really want this one. Hope it hits the shelves in my country before New Year, but i doubt it(Romania and all). Now I'm going to wait for it and see if it's user friendly enough for me because of the size.
