i have the galaxy note, i got it for my birtday and its an amazing phone. i love it, and its my life. it has all the apps i need and i had the iphone before and truthfully, both of them are amazing phones, and both have battery problems because they run out alot. who cares? just charge it!! i reccomend this phone to anyone!! have fun with it:)

Can anybody tell me what is the call quality in 3G network in europe. I see the frequences are different. Does this affect on the speed, coverage, quality and etc.

I've got the I717 and an iMac. What you have to do is disable the USB debugging from your phone. You should be able to connect to Kies perfectly fine. I had trouble at first, but via searching through google (for like an hour), I found this solution makes everything work out fine. Good luck, hope this helps.

Love the i717......but.
On my Mac with OS 10.8 Mountain Lion cannot connect to Samsung 'Kies' to download music etc. because Samsung does NOT yet have a driver for OS 10.8.
Had the phone for 3 days. This morning for no apparent reason at all it went into "Emergency Phone Call" mode and will NOT allow me into the system at all even after shutting down, removing the battery.
Still wants me to make an 'Emergency' phone call before allowing me into the opening menu.
DUH.... back to the shop today..... may return it and get something that is actually compatible with a 'Mac' and works for more than 3 days without crapping up.
Never had these problems with my iPhone.

This phone use to be amazing, until I upgraded it to ICS, I waited and waited for so long for the update to finally come out, and when it finally did came out, it did nothing but ruin my phone! it crashes a lot now, and the screen wont turn on sometimes, worst of all is the battery life, it will go through at least two full charges on a regular day. even if I don't use it at all the battery will still won't last a full day, it will die just from being on stand by, it's ridiculous!!!
If you have happen to have a Galaxy note that it's still on Gingerbread DO NOT UPGRADE!!!

Have had this phone for 3 months...I also have a Blackberry, and will soon be chucking it away, in comparison this blows Balckberry out of the water...infact it blows any other phone out of the water....It has no comparison, it suits all my requirements, and although people say that it looks and feels big - Size Doesn`t Matter ! I`m extremely happy with this phone, the only issue is the battery life, but if you constantly have EDGE on then it is bound to drain out - Overall would recommend this phone to anyone who wants phone an tablet features rolled into one neat package.....

i love the Samsung Galaxy GT N7000 i think is the best fone i ever use. i got it for only i week but i am already fun for it. just that the battery dont last long but i was told if i turn it to GSM mode the battery would last much longer. i use to use Motorola Xoom but sold it for the GNote, i am not regreting it. Thx a lot to Samsung for the good work on Smartphone like theirs good for business men like myself. I am ICT contsultant and i do have mails i need to attend to which i love about the GNote.
