I love this tablet. I've had it for years. My kids have used it. I've install various mods but eventually settled on the stock rom. I get two days on one charge. The screen is cracked and I've lost my s pen (recently ordered a new one for £15) and I've had about 10 devices since I first got this. It's still the second best mobile device I ever owned (behind the moto g3). It's pretty fast and smooth, the camera is pretty good, and I can use it as a phone. It's great!

asianman, 31 Jan 2014Maybe there's a mistake. You should be able to make a voice... moreI know this was a long time ago, but did you get it on a data only plan? That's how I got mine and it was configured without a dialer. You can just install one from Play. Or do what I did: root it, install clockwork mod recovery and install cyanogenmod. This is still my main device. (Warning... Your banking apps might not work if you root your device)

I have the problem of very long charging time since beginning. I did send it to a local Samsung service center but was told the battery will not be replace so long as it is operational. They even suggest that I should close all programs which were still running even after I shut down the tablet. While trying to remove those programs still running after shut down, my tablet became worse and worse and finally it failed to boot up with a display "Unfortunately process stopped". Though the same service center tried to provide free remedy but all failed. Despite of the repeated claims that my tablet could be damaged further, I insisted to do a complete restore of its system with a payment of S$32.10
The unit works as it was new after that. However the problem of long recharging time still persists and getting worse as time goes by. Just last night after 12 hours charging battery was only 9% full with the message "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" during boot up.

Hey , you have to update the firmwire and then you`ll have the dialer! I had the same problem in Romania and i fixed it like that. Find the kitkat update online via software update or just do it youself.

batery is not perfect but all the rest is ok, i have a bit of problems with GPS( long coordinates serch...)
camera is perfect, led flash need a bit of adjustment when taking photo's( false collors). Im using tablt for home internet ( via usb threating)- working marvelus. if you want to use it in car and charge it NEED to have more than 2Amp charger^^

The supported LTE bands of this device might not work with some network carriers here in the Philippines though, since it wasnt released locally
