I've got this problem with my Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P905), every few months the device starts rebooting, it's something that happens randomly, some days there's no problem and sometimes it's impossible to use it because it keeps rebooting continuously.
Resetting the device to factory default setting fixes this problem, but it's annoying having to reset the device every few months.
I think installing Android 6 to this device would fix it, because we don't even have Android 5.1. It's a pitty that there won't be more Android updates for this device, we have a very good device, but unfortunately discontinued and abandoned by Samsung.

I've run this tablet daily for 2+ years and it's excellent. I did install a new battery which helped, but it's an awesome tablet.

What are you guys talking about, I have this NotePro12.2 for over 2 years, and have used it everyday. The only issue I'm having with my NotePro is that the battery is no longer holding full charges. Actually it shuts down as if out of battery while the battery is reading 65% full.
This is the only reason I'm looking forward for an updated version of NotePro12.2

Do not buy it. It presents many malfunctions and the battery is getting inefficient too early.

One of the other users recommended using Odin to flash the ROM, did you end up trying that or did it ever end up working with how you were doing it?
