I am using this mobile since last 9 months, and I have no issues with this phone till date. the mobile has been thrown my niece many times but no damage done to the screen.

i bought the phone in feb-2012.in sep it has some faults like the display is locked for a while after i make a call / receive a call.when i connect my earphone it activate the FM.can anybody y?

The screen is always locked after 30 sec and I need to be active with touch (not by side button)?

I buy it since a few days, and I upgraded it to 2.3.6 - it's good but the memory is low and battery life is not good (around 1 day and half), the speed is good but it's not very fast, anyway it's good device with low price.

best phone at this price range ....
it has everything....
1. 832Mhz processor
2. good battery life
3. awesome camera and video quality.
4.nice sound and great from earphone.
5.great looks.
6.all the apps works awesome.
7.fast effective touch.
8. android version is not the latest version but gingerbread is the most worked platform...near about 62% of all the android works on gingerbread.

RAM is too low.even 512mb ram is most suitable for this phone.

I have been using this phone for the past 4 months, and trust me this handset is superb, battery is good, camera is good, Its a nice smart phone with a law price. go for it and you won't regret.

i want to buy an android phone for myself.....my max budget is 9200 Rs...so i finally shortened the mobiles that i wish to buy to Samsung Pop/Mini+ (S5570i) and HTC Explorer...the fact is i liked explore but i dont know if there is any customer care support for HTC in my place....i live in thrissur District,kerala,India....i heard that there is a customer care service for HTC in kochi,kerala which i am not sure about...but if any thing happen to my mobile..like any software problem due to virus attack or any hardware problem or so...it is not easy for me to go all the way to kochi to get my mobile repaired....So if any one know about the customer care service or authorized sales for HTC in kerala especially in thrissur District...plz...plz....reply....Samsung have lots of customer care service in our place...So i am now planning to buy pop+ since i dont know about HTC customer care service or authorized sales for HTC in kerala especially in thrissur District if there is one...
i would like to know which is the BEST PHONE in these two phones....Plz dont advise me to buy Samsung galaxy Ace or galaxy Y or Y DUOS or motorola fire xt...I surely dont want to buy the matorola brand...and i dont have the money to buy Galaxy ace...and I dont want to buy galaxy Y or Y DUOS...Excluding Sonyericsson i dont want to buy blackberry or LG or any other brands....
Comparing these two models i found that...
1.Samsung Pop/Mini+ has more Customer care support in my area...i dont know about HTC customer care in our area...if there is one plz inform me....plz....
2.Pop+ is released in Feb.2012 while HTC is released OCt.2012 in India..So pop+ is younger...eventhough HTC has v3.0 Bluetooth while pop+ has v2.1...
3.pop+ has more internal memory than HTC explorer....it has 160MB... while HTC explorer has 90 MB...so i think pop+ can accomodate more apps...
4.Pop+ has 832 MHz ARMv6 CPU...while HTC Explorer has 600 MHz CPU...which is a major aspect to look at while cosidering a phone....s
5.pop+ has Digital Compass...which is not there in HTC...
6.HTC Explorer has 180 ppi pixel density...while Pop+ has only 127 ppi pixel density...So more games like HD and 3D games can be played in HTC phone....
7.HTC Explorer has about 512 MB ram while Pop+ has only 384 MB...
8.HTC Explorer has inbuilt flash player in it while Pop+ hasn't....So we need to download a good browser to Surf the net and watch videos....
9.While reading the user reviews i found that battery backup is a major problem for most of the users of Pop+...while only a few are complaning about the battery backup in HTC Explorer...eventhough there is a slight change in the battery capasity of these two mobiles...
10.HTC Explorer supports more type of video formats while it is limited no. in pop+....
11.Eventhough OS of pop/Mini+ in GSMARENA is given as -Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo), upgradable to v2.3...I found that both these phones have standard v2.3 (Gingerbread)...
i have not yet used and seen these two models....what i wrote is here is from the internet as well as the user reviews of these products....So is there any mistake in the informations I wrote...? Is there any other drawbacks in these two models other than this..?
and I have some other doubts to clear regarding these two phones...(keep in mind the POINTS ABOVE)
1.Is the apps as well as the SOFTWARE SUPPORT CHEAPLY AVAILABLE for pop+ and HTC explorer from the customer care and the internet...?
2.Which phone HAS A GOOD CLARITY INTERNAL LOUDSPEAKER,..IS IT POP+ OR HTC EXPLORER..?
3.WHICH PHONE IS MORE BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT,..IS IT HTC EXPLORE OR POP/MINI+(S5570i)..?
4.I am only worried about the INTERNAL MEMORY OF HTC EXPLORER...so is there any SUCCESSFUL WAY TO INCREASE IT WITHOUT THE PHONE BEING MUCH EFFECTED...?
5.which mobile is BETTER in User Interference...?
6..Is the battery Backup time same in both these mobiles...?
7.which mobile is better when condidering the internal memory,RAM and the processor altogether..?
8.I heard that Samsung Pop/Mini+ is reporting many troubles....is this true..?i dont know about HTC explorer...
can anyone tell the price of these two phones in the INDIAN MARKET...i dont even care if i dont get any earphone or memory card with the phone i buy....
is there any malayali user or anyone who can tell me about the ADDRESS OF THE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE OR AUTHORIZED SALES IN KERALA WITH THE CONTACT NO OF IT especially in THRISSUR District if there is one...?THANZ IN ADVANCE...
Now i would like to hear the reply from the master minds across the world about these two phones....WHICH ONE SHOULD I BUY POP/MINI+(S5570i) OR HTC EXPLORER...?while giving the reply plz keep in mind that i dont know whether there is a customer care support in kerala and mind the comparison points above...and once again THANZ for the rply in advance....Consider me as your younger brother and plz reply soon...plz..

i realy like this phn...because it has better gud quality from other n cheap rate...if u want to use anroid device that this would be best for u....
