Samsung Galaxy Ring could be used to control the Galaxy XR headset
Samsung launched the Galaxy XR headset last month, and according to a recent report, it will expand its availability next year. Interestingly, Samsung seems to be working on letting you navigate the headset's UI by using the Galaxy Ring.
A string of code in the latest update to the Galaxy Ring Manager app for Android reveals an upcoming "ring gesture for glasses". Of course, since the word "glasses" is used, this may not be intended specifically for the Galaxy XR headset, but for future Galaxy XR glasses.
Still, it's interesting to see that something like this is in development to give the Galaxy Ring an extra function. It probably won't be very hard to implement either, since you can already use the Galaxy Ring to control your phone in order to take photos or silence alarms with a double-pinch.
A Samsung patent that surfaced earlier this year also described how the ring could control more screens, and now it seems like the company is serious about making this a reality. At this time it's too early to say when to expect this feature to launch, but we'll let you know when we find out more.

when they tested it they barely got to 5 days, one can ask if it even was with all functions on and how many times/ after how many minutes it tested the heart rate. If you use it for the xr headset wich would need nonestop connection unlike with heal...
