Chaps, 04 Jun 2020So all the media I read about this phone said it supported ... moreThey were thinking let's add 5G capability. The larger S20+ and S20 Ultra phones had more room to have expandable memory AND 5G, but the regular S20 didn't so it does not have 5G but keeps the expandable memory and 12Gb of ram. Verizon's S20 has less ram and no expandable memory but they added 5G.

I didnt like s20 series..because 128GB internal storage only..I need min 512GB like my note9 512GB..I hope note20 have 512GB variant..

So all the media I read about this phone said it supported Micro SD cards up to 1TB in a dual SIM card slot. I got mine last night... It doesn't have a micro SD card slot anywhere. So no expandable memory when every other version has this? What were they thinking?

Please note that this particular S20 (S20 5G UW) has 8gb ram and no microsd card allocation (ie no room for a microsd card)

Anonymous, 20 May 2020Can someone explain? Verizon's mmWave flavor of 5G which it's marketing as 5G UW (or 5G UWB). The S20 models sold by other carriers don't support mmWave, and so Samsung has been busy making a special version of the S20 just for Verizon, with that connectivity baked in.
