Samsung's Camera Controller app now lets you take photos from Galaxy S20 using a Galaxy Watch

Sagar, 04 April 2020

Samsung has updated its Camera Controller app to let Galaxy S20 series owners capture photos and record videos from their phones using their Samsung Galaxy smartwatch.

All you have to do is download the Camera Controller app from the Galaxy Store on your device, sync it with your Samsung smartwatch, and your smartwatch will act as a viewfinder and a shutter button for your device's camera.

You can also use the smartwatch to switch between the front and rear cameras of the smartphone with swipe gestures.

Samsung has also squashed some bugs on the Camera Controller app with the latest update, but it doesn't get into specifics.

The Camera Controller app is currently compatible with the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2. It supports a total of 13 smartphones, including the S20 trio, but the list doesn't include the Galaxy Z Flip.

Unless you've precariously set up the phone on a tripod then this is useless.
