Anonymous, 28 Mar 2024Is this still worth it in 2024 for camera and performance Yeah the camera is still solid and the performance is no problem, only issue is battery, battery health is rough after 4 years specially with fast charging, if you buy used check if the owner replaced it or not and if not u might wanna do that yourself, otherwise it barely holds on for a full day

I have this phone for 3 years. Still fast and everything, cool phone, but camera man... it sucks, my note 8 took better pics. Sometimes it can't even focus! So 6.5/10, the performance saves it and compensates, but camera is just awful. At best a decent phone still.

It would be best to buy global models instead of Indian model because most of these display problems are happening only in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan.

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2023This phone in 2023 or a Samsung A54, I hope to get response... moreThe S20 Ultra is a much better phone than A54, if you look at the specs you will see how inferior A54 is, A54 comes with 8 GB Ram and S20 Ultra has 12 GB Ram also S20 Ultra has 108 MP camera for 100x zoom, it has wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, A54 has none of these features. S20 Ultra is a 3 years old phone but is still far better than latest mid range phone. But one thing you will have to keep in mind if you buy s20 Ultra buy the 5G model.

For anybody interested in this phone in 2023 (at least the Exynos 990 variant), I think the phone is decent (but only for day to day usage). You need to be careful of some things:
-Exynos 990 was one of the worse Exynos chipsets in recent years. It is decent, but battery drain issues and overheating, makes it not so good for heavy gaming or multitasking.
-this phone comes out of the box with Android 10. Back then Samsung pledged 3OS updates for the S20 series. That means this phone (and all S20 series for that matter) will not receive Android 14.
-be careful at the price (depending on your country). In Czechia this model cost more than a vanilla S22 or a S21+ models (second hand prices, of course). If it's same case scenario with you, do not buy the S20 ultra.
I hope this info helps whoever is interested in this model. The Exynos 990 variant.

The only smartphone brand nowadays that uses high Megapixel telephoto camera is Xiaomi, Google, Huawei, and Honor. Even ZTE and Vivo only start to put it on the Axon 40 Ultra and the X90 Pro alongside the X90 Pro+.
