Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra's Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus+ put through a drop test

With an Armor Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back, this is the toughest Galaxy Note, sorry, Galaxy S phone yet. But is it really? We already watched the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra get disassembled on video and undergo some durability testing. Now it’s time to watch it fall onto concrete.
The phone is off to an immediate disappointment as the Super Clear Glass above the cameras cracks after the first drop. However, it seems that the worst case scenario is for the phone to fall on its side, hitting the ground with the curved edge of its screen. That caused the most damage.
The phone did take quite a beating before the display gave out, but you should consider getting a protective case (and possibly glass) for your expensive new flagship. Also, if you sign up for Samsung Care+, a cracked screen will be a $29 repair. Without it, the repair will cost a few hundred dollars (judging by older models).

Why can't you use tempered glass? I'm using it right now on my Note 20. Used it on my s10 too. It works equally as badly as the plastic or with no screen protector. The whole under glass sensor thing is the most stupid design ever.
