TeddY, 16 Jul 2023All S23 i've tried could not focus properly to make a ... moreMy backup phone is the smaller Note 10 (i.e. not the +), which has the same cameras as the S10 and when I compare its camera quality with my friends who have the S23/+, the latter is better in every situation. If sporadic blurriness when close focusing is indeed an endemic problem with the S23/+, which is still not known, I would still be ok with it since I hardly ever take close up pics at the short distance that would trigger the problem. As I said, the pics I've taken/seen of the S23's used by family and friends were all tack sharp at the regular distances the overwhelming majority of people usually take pictures at.

S10 was the last perfect small S phone. Then it got worse every year. S21 FE is still compact and very good though

Nothing phone (2) or S23. also nord 3 (a little cheaper). They are the almost the same price in my country. which one to pick?

Banana blur is specific to the 50 mpx camera that has wide aperture and narrow focus.
This camera is found is S22, S22+, S23, S23 +... and it seems the S24 will use it also ahahah...they never learn. I will keep my S21 a bit longer.

Banana blur ruins this phone.
Software fix won't fix this since it's embedded by the hardware design of the aperture.
It would've been perfect but it doesn't deliver for its price.

Upgrading from an S10e there are 3 major things I noticed.
Display is superior, Speakers are higher quality, Battery efficiency is outstanding.
Everything else is a minor upgrade but still I prefer this over my S10e its much better.

I have used Samsung S7, S9 and now using s10e Dual Sim. I always prefer a handy pocket size set.
Samsung has used all of their brain in Samsung S10e. Just now a battery issue in S10e.
I have Checked S20 FE, S21 Ultra, S23. The are just over advertised to make people go for newer set not better than S10e.
Samsung should think about small screen set with best battery back up.

The s10 was very good but the s23 is better in every respect. Display, camera, speed, and battery life are all superior to my s10. My s10 was good but I do not miss it. In particular I also prefer the s23 flat screen.
