I traded up from an s10 and found the s23 superior in every way including display, battery life, and camera. I really cannot fault it. I use the battery saver and limit charging to 85% and still have well over 40% battery left by the following day.

    Great phone.
Moved from a Pixel 7 to the S23 (base model for both) and I have no regrets.
There was a learning curve for me, going from a history of Motorola & Pixel's 'stock' Android to OneUI, but I enjoy tinkering & exploring.
Performance & battery are excellent. Where my Pixel 7 was ending the day in the 20-40% battery range, the S23 still has 60% battery left for the same usage! (I'm in the Standard performance profile.)
And it charges Fast if I ever need it topped up in a hurry. (I use deliberately slow wireless charging overnight, and a 30w Google power brick when I need charging right away.)
Phone size is so much nicer than the P7 (IMO), and it's not heavy. Very comfortable to hold all day long, especially paired with a good case.
I've only taken a handful of pictures with it. Being mostly of my kid's Scout camps outdoors & school ceremonies with lots of people, I haven't noticed any of the blur that everyone else is talking about. (I tried taking a pic of my keyboard, and couldn't see any blur on the keycap text 🤷‍♀️.)

Tl;dr - Great device. Pity it wasn't $100 cheaper, but for the price, it does everything & does it well.

I'll typically get 500 Mb/s to 600Mb/s download speeds on C-band. I'll need to check again, later this week, to see if it shows something different.

Anonymous, 30 May 2023To be honest fast charging isn't good for battery That's just a myth. I've lost only 4% in 1 and half years with 120w on my phone.
It's just some lame samsung excuse. Maybe it has to do just with samsung devices cause lately they're known for overheating and bad batteries.

I'd buy instantly if it had faster charging. It's really annoying that everyone else has it faster.
Something like 68W would do great job for me.

When I got the samsung galaxy s23 I didn't realize the S9110 model didn't come with an
E-sim option and that I had to switch to the S911B model to get the E-sim option.

Furkan, 26 May 2023in 1 year later you will say it has a bad batteryFurkan nothing lasts forever. I can only report that the battery on my s23 is very good. I charge only once a day to 85% and by the end of the day I normally have 50-55% left.

Hello friends, I notice that online stores and operators sell this model Galaxy S23 and its bigger brother S23+ with the origin of production in two countries. Korea and Vietnam. Does anyone know the problem with the cameras and the banana effect, exactly from which factory phones that have this problem were assembled? The factory in Korea or the factory in Vietnam?

I switched from the S21 to the S23, differences are not huge but the first thing that you will notice its battery life is excellent for a smartphone that size. When I push it I end the day with like 30% left, with moderate usage easily 65%. When I don't use it much at all , phone calls and texting only I think it lasts 4 days

I do not know how people are saying 2 days battery backup. I am not saying its bad, for the size of the phone, it is really good but 2 days battery backup with limiting it to 85% charge is hard to believe as i am using this phone for almost 4 months and I have tried all the combination of 5G, 4G, WIFI, standard mode, putting apps to sleep and the conclusion is simple( I do not do gaming on it because this size of phone is not meant for gaming), If someone is using phone mostly on WIFI with 5G network selected with putting apps in deep sleep which we do not use, max battery time is 24 to 25 hours if SOT has not over 3 hours( I always charge it till 85 percent only) and if we use phone continuously for watching OTT content with half brightness for like 3 hours from 85 percent battery than overall battery time will decrease to 12 to 17 hours, so basically standby time will only be good in this phone when SOT is under 3 hours. Samsung has just reduced the idle drain issue which was there in S22 and that is why overall battery life was less on S22 however if we are continuously watching OTT content, youtube or social media so both phones drain will be almost equal, just that S22 idle drain is very bad. So best results one can get is 4.5 hours SOT with 17-19 Hours total time if we charge phone till 85 percent and drain till 10 or 5 percent. People who are claiming that they have 2 day battery backup which means 48 hours of total time and still with 40 percent left even after charging till 85 percent only, means they are knowingly or unknowingly charging there phone in between for sort hours because if we are not charging till exact 85 percent then battery cycle will show old result and combine it with current usage.

Furkan, 26 May 2023in 1 year later you will say it has a bad batteryAll phones are like that. Some just arent noticeable. System requirements increase as phone manufacturers push update to their phone lineup. What is 2 days today mabe 1 and a half days next year.

3 months after using this phone.

Performance, no complain (barely play games),
                                        No stutter no lag.
Battery, can last 2 days, but after 24h still about 40%.
