TV92, 12 Apr 2023I'm looking to replace my Huawei p30 lite and thinking... moreI replaced my Huawei Mate 20 Lite (4 years old) with S23 and I am very satisfied with it.
I disabled fast charging and limited the charging to 85% to extend the battery life. I am not a heavy user so it lasts 3 days for moderate usage.

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2023Are you satisfied with the battery?Yes, the endurance is better than Pixel 5.

TheAlienNextDoor, 24 Mar 2023Best phone ever made, period. Only the S10e, S7 and Noki... moreI don't agree with your opinion but in the other hand I don't like Samsung's One UI because It's too heavy and slugish for my taste. It's one of the most stable systems on Android tho, but far from being great. Even MIUi is far more fluid it's just I don't like its unpredictabillity, it can be pretty unstable. One UI has bunch of features, but I would prefer snappiness over bunch of features I will never use. Hardware could be better, especially cameras. All 3 cameras on the back need an improvement. Main camera is not so great for a flagship phone. I mean... I know Xiaomi has a completly different bussiness model and it's ungrateful to directly compare it with Samsung, but they manage to put that same main camera sensor as S23/S23+ in a 300$ device RN 12 Pro. If I want to sound like you, I would say something like... Slowly but surely Samsung is becoming like Apple, which people buy only because of the logo (your own words mind you). But I won't do that, because 1st of all, I have respect for each one of you here even I don't agree with ya and 2nd of all, my d*ck will not be any longer after I make some fun with fanboys calling them stupid because they choose Apple or any other model. People are different! Duh! Both OS are having their own advantages and disvantages. You have a right to say what do you like and what do you don't like. But how can you be so selfish to think everybody has to buy what you buy and they have to think the same as you. Seriuisly dude?
What the hell is wrong with people?

I'm looking to replace my Huawei p30 lite and thinking of buying the samsung s23. I want a light phone (less than 170, ideally), with wireless charging and a decent camera. It seems nowadays there aren't many small/light phones so this seems to be the best option I found. I'd get a Google pixel if they were lighter and had wireless charging. Am I making a good decision opting for this samsung or would I be better off spending less money on another phone?

I've been using this phone for two months. It's almost perfect. The only issue is that there's no 512G variant in the States. My Pixel 5 finally retired. S23 has the exactly same dimensions as Pixel 5.

Honestly, I am considering to buy another Pixel this year, maybe 7A.

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2023I'm experiencing battery drain. I bought this phone pa... moreTurn on Performance profile to light always, Turn off always on display because it drains battery very fast. Put apps in deep sleep manually which you do not use or do not need any notification as such and make sure in battery option to check if you have installed any third party app which is draining battery. With these setting and i use protect battery ( which only charge my phone to 85 percent), still i am getting 4 to 4.5 hours SOT so with full charge you should easily get 6 to 7 Hours SOT in normal usage and if you use camera a lot then it can reduce a little and believe me for a compact android phone like S23 with 3900 MAH battery, 5 to 7 hours SOT is not bad at all because few phones which has 4500 MAH battery do not give that much of SOT, even my S20 Fe5g gives only 4 to 4.5 hours SOT which has 4500 MAH battery.

Really, the only achilles heel of this phone is the slow charging speed, which is quite a pity. Otherwise it's a great entry-level flagship (with a not so entry-level price).

I'm using it all the time on my exynos S21 and see at least a 30% improvement, while not noticing any issues in performance (I don't play heavy games on my phone).

No heating issues in normal day to day usage, until you are doing any heavy work or gaming, battery life is better than S20 Fe 5g so of course it is much better than S22. Brightness is not issue, its just adaptive brightness( auto brightness) option which works too good, lol. So in dark rooms it reduce it a lot as compared to S20 Fe 5g to save battery life however if you turn on Extra dim option then it will forcefully reduce brightness even when adaptive brightness option is off. So its not like that it is bad, actually S20 Fe 5g keep lower brightness high in adaptive mode as well which is actually not good so S23 Adaptive brightness actually works exactly as it should. I cannot say about Camera quality but yes front cam is better that S22 series as Samsung used same front sensor in whole S23 lineup. So There is no issues with phone, I would say S23 is the best compact Android phone that S22 tries really hard to be but failed miserably.

I'm experiencing battery drain. I bought this phone partly because everyone was praising the battery life, but I can barely get 5 hrs SOT and that's with only WiFi, no heavy usage (I'm not a gamer, only occasionaly browse social media and WhatsApp). Learning usage pattern is finished and I was hoping for it to get better after that, but I feel like it's even worse now. Is there any way to fix this?

I would like to compare the s23 but I am afraid of having the same problems as the s22, problems that I never had until the s20 fe 5g. out of nowhere it gets hot, GPS stops working due to the hot weather, speakers that stop working for a few minutes after a plane trip due to price, poor quality photos. In short, a lot of money for an S gamma. I'm going to buy the s10e. I'm sorry for my english
