I always thought the plus would be too big. But after using the S23+ now for two weeks. I couldn't imagine going back to the base model, with the smaller screen.

Compact and powerful phone.
battery life is awesome, last more than one day with my regular use..
never regret i traded my s22 ultra for this beautiful thing..
I'm getting 2x battery life than s22 ultra...
who needs an ultra when a compact handy size beast fits exactly in you hands to fill out you daily juice...
hiighly recomended...

Hills od, 26 Feb 2023Amazing but is that battery endurance rating for real?If you're talking about GSMArena battery rating - then NO its scientific / standardize battery rating they built years ago to compare battery between devices. Its nowhere near the actual usage but at least gives you idea which phones have good (>100) or bad battery life.
For real life usage, this S23 will able to end the day with some battery left for medium-heavy usage and plenty more for light users. As light user myself. I was able to have 7-8 hrs SOT for 1.5 day. Pretty great and comparable to S21U (Exynos) battery life I have prior to this.

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2023Is it enough to get you through the whole day if you don�... moreAbsolutely. I have now had my s23 for week and the battery lasts well over a day. It charges to 100% by 8am and still has 61% by 11pm. I don't play games only Facebook, Google, phone calls, messaging. Brilliant.

The battery life improvements outweigh the resolution benefits. That's why iPhones have retina display. That's why professionals care more about color accuracy than resolution. We have 8K barely anyone grades in 8K let alone shoot at it unless you count film which they don't scan in 8K.
But sure 1440p60 > 1080p120 with VRR on a 6.1" screen that you're going to view with a microscope to see a disadvantage compared to 1440p. Sony has the best screens (4K120). It's more a gimmick than an advantage for such a small screen for those who've reviewed it or have it as their main device. That's why the smaller version (Xperia 5) has a 1080p screen.

Put apps you're not using in Deep sleep and check the Location Permission to only use for needed apps only. It should last a day and some.
