I just got the One I 7 updated today, May 1st, 2025. I have Verizon and have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version. I also did a factory reset and it shows. I would do a factory reset like stated, well worth it.

Good phone, a budget friendly flagship with powerful exynos processor. I'm glad, I will get my first flagship phone soon!

I have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version and don't experience the overheating everyone seems to be crying about. Even in games like Call of Duty: Warzone it gets warm, not hot. Maybe my hands can handle temperature different than the majority.
With the OneUI 7 update, they will integrate the Vulkan API to make the phone more responsive, that should be interesting.
But honestly, my next phone will be the Pixel 10. I cannot stand having a double ecosystem on this phone. Samsung tries too hard to push their apps over Google when I find the Google versions much better.
I also have 2.5Gb/8Gb RAM usage when my phone starts. People need to understand how to strip services and bloatware better. Another reason I like Pixel, straight Android UI.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2025Camera is very nice and over all the phone is best but only... moreYes it does get warm if you use it for longer hours or play games but I haven't faced any overheating issues on it. The things I don't like about this phone are the bezels which sore to the eyes especially if you've used the previous S series which had symmetrical bezels also the weight and thickness of the phone are also on the down side.
