nion, 14 Jun 2024My S10 with Exynos worked flawlessly for 5 years. And now I... moreI got it a day after my comment.

I realized my old A52 charger (small white samsung charger) was slow af so upon delivery I went out to take some photos and buy a 45W Samsung charger. The battery is insane. Out of the box it was charged at around 60%. I went out at 55% on mobile data, stream Spotify, do some browsing and I went back home with 25%! That's for nearly a day out. I'm confident to go to work at 50% and I'll still have charge when I get home even if I don't charge at work.

It really doesn't heat up for normal use case. I even played some games like Bang Dream and Civilization VI. People are probably overreacting or just parroting stuff.

All that while it's still learning my battery usage pattern. That means it's not even optimized yet.

And now I have S24+ with Exynos and there aren't any problems at all. But Snapdragon version is slightly better, but if you don't play games for days at a time, it won't be a problem.

Some people have complained that it overheats and the signal is bad and battery doesn't last. I have none of those problems, so all I can tell you is the positives. I have full signal bar, doesn't overheat and battery even lasts 2 days if I don't use it a lot. It's definetly a better chip than the Exynos from previous years.

Or maybe I have the only actually working Exynos 2400 on the planet lol

I think you won't be dissapointed.

So I traded in my A52 with broken back case and buttons for 300 USD (converted, I'm not in the US) for this phone. Waiting for it to arrive, it's an Exynos. We still have S7 Edge with Exynos working so I thought I'll give Exynos a chance.

AENON360, 09 Jun 2024Is the s24+ exynos version worth over the s23 line up?? Bee... moreChecked all models from S24 series. S24 was too small for me with slightly weaker hardware but S24 Ultra was too large and boxy. And I didn't need S pen or better camera. So bought S24 Plus. Awesome phone with great screen and great battery life. Though mine is Snapdragon version Exynos is very similar. So if you aren't a heavy gamer heating won't be an issue.

Is the s24+ exynos version worth over the s23 line up?? Been thinking to get an upgrade from this mid range samsung model, but then I don't wanna dump so much money on something which might not last me few good years. Where I live, its usually humid and hot throughout the year, so I have the concerns of the heating issues of exynos, when under heavy gaming and other what not daily usages.
I still have some offers on my amazon site like the S21 FE (SD888 smthing) and S23 (SD8G2),but I kinda prefer bigger models like S23+ and S23U, albeit I can't find it on online stores. Well yea then there's that S24U with SD8G3, but idk the flat screen plus over the top cost for some AI gimmick,IMO,not worth it. (And no I don't want to go back to the Chinese models, and switching to iOS is irreversible)

Purchased from from argos and now I am stuck with it.
It's smoth and powerful enough, but battery life could be better.
Had it s24 ultra ,but did not like the size.
But at least very compact and light ,which I really like it.
Didn't notice that is heating during longer gaming sessions as previous generations of exynos.

                            S. Smith, 25 May 2024Thank you for your feedback. My usage is quite normal, but ... moreWelp, I guess that's a great comparison there between Exynos and Snapdragon. Exynos just isnt as well optimised or as advanced in terms of technology. It heats, it drains and it uses more battery than it should. Also the mobile connectivity is garbage. WiFi is okay.

Although I get fairly decent battery and SOT most of the time, I wouldn't buy this phone again if I had the choice. It's not as fast or as smooth as I expect a flagship to be.

My usage is quite normal, but I still don't get good screen-on time. It's frustrating since the signal strength issue due to Exynos is already a concern.
For context, my previous S23 Plus and S24 Ultra had great battery performance. However, I switched to the S24 Plus because the S24 Ultra is a bit big and not pocket-friendly.
                              Thanks again for your input.

We are forced to use the device with the Exynos 2400 processor. At the very least, Samsung should ensure that it is a good and excellent processor in terms of battery performance. My Galaxy S24 Plus has very poor battery performance, not even reaching 5 hours of screen-on time.

It's an 8K camera, what do you mean "mediocre" lol

I'm sure you don't have it set to 8K if you think that it's the same as in S22.

Damn this phone should come with a mandatory tutorial, because people just can't use it properly and then write stupid s*it on forums.

The only thing that really sucks on this phone is signal strength. It's really rubbish compared to snapdragon and even mediatek devices. Such a shame!
