I had the S24+ for a few days, then went back to my S21FE which was half the price. Smaller, lighter, stronger screen color, better speakers for bass, longer battery, even better cameras for close up focus. I guess i will have to wait for S25+

Speakers are loud, but terrible sound with zero bass, just trebble...hurting the ears. I have a 250 dollars chinese phone that sounds far better. And GsmArena review says audio quality is very good, what a joke.

ZzzzZ, 01 Feb 2024Always a bad idea to buy a phone at launch...there always w... moreI have done the same mistake, well, almost. First, bought the VIP Pass in the first week of January. Then when the S24 series was announced on 17th, straightway went for the VFM option i.e. S24+, completely ignoring the fact that it comes with Exynos here in India. Booked the 512 GB variant (remember double storage?) along with freebies and paid in full by using HDFC credit card. Also, booked exchange for my S23+.
Good sense prevailed a few days later on. Read many first cut reviews on Exynos most of which did not have much to say in favour of it. Cancelled the booking and payment just one day before scheduled delivery. Received back the full amount paid today.
Love my S23+ more now. May switch to 24 series in future only if there is positive feedback by the actual users.

The Banana effect should appear around the middle, and here there is none. So for me, and for this phone at least, camera is acceptable. Let's see what GsmArena review and early users will tell us...

Always a bad idea to buy a phone at launch...there always will be bugs, and if it is because of hardware you are done. Better to wait a few months to know if the problems can be fixed. If not, then buy sometning else...

Please tell me where the new model comes from as a country of manufacture? I remember that the C23+ was assembled in Vietnam, and the old C22+ was assembled in Korea. I am talking specifically about the models that came to Bulgaria.

I don't understand
How the gsmarena can give higher score for loudness (compared to Oneplus 12) if s24+ sounds horrible and no bass either
Does Samsung pay them for better reviews?????
