They are almost identical but the + is a bit better and more expensive. The s24+ is better in resolution (1440p vs 1080p) and charging speed (45W vs 25W) mainly. But i think the most importannt factor is the display size so you should base your decition on that.

      So if you play a lot of games, watch a lot of videos and stuff like that... having a bigger battery, screen and better resolution helps a bit.

      But if you use it for calls and some social media (like most people), then the regular S24 is fine.

The fact that they can atleast match last year's snapdragon without getting too hot is an achievment at this point. Seeing also the performance of the xynos of the 1480 Im very excited to see what next year's exynos flagship soc does.

                I understand people buying Ultra because it is the biggest size of all Samsung phones. Or the regular because it is the smallest size. But the Plus is about the same as A55, half the price...

                  I literally have my old S23 Ultra and the new S24+ Exynos side by side and the performance is nearly identical. The S24+ actually seems faster a lot of the time. The battery life is a bit worse on the Exynos but really not by much.

                                    I really think that if Samsung put the SD8 Gen 3 into it Worldwide then barely anyone would even look at the S24 Ultra. Only those who really want the Spen function. So I kinda understand why they didn't end up doing that even though everyone is mad at them for it. They're a company out to make maximum return on their product after all. I do think also that it should be a bit cheaper though.
