Rami, 27 Feb 2025Hello, this is weird because the display is AMAZING. Colors... moreYes the colours are good, it's just the 1080p res.. moving from 1240p to 1080p means 20% less informations on screen, everything looks simpler.. I do a lot of multitasking, I often have a floating window on a side..
Anyway, I'll get used to it, I am planing to keep this phone for a few years.
12T pro is a great device, but S24Fe has some advantages.. build quality is better, speaker quality is better.. this is great phone for average user
For advanced users I recommend s24+ because of higher res screen

Like when I wanted a 120Hz screen and more storage to store media so I upgraded from a Mi9 6/128GB to Redmi K60 16/512GB over a year ago for $430.

If I don't really need to upgrade, it means I'm just bored with the old phone so another option is to experiment with custom ROMs or buy different phone cases. I also recently got a 2nd hand Poco F3 to play around with and it was just $140. The SD870 inside it is surprisingly good and runs MLBB at ultra settings. It should serve as a good backup phone in case I break/lose the Redmi.

Let's not give in to capitalism like people who keep getting the latest iPhone Pro every year yet only ever use a fraction of what their device can actually do.

        1. You're feeling so since your eyes got along with the higher resolution. (Don't worry, it's just a period of time until you get along with it).
        2. You're using a bad screen protector. (I experienced this personally). Just make sure the screen protector is original.

I bought this device 1.5 months ago, and I'm very satisfied.

I was reading reviews and decided to buy it..
New I cannot understand why everebody says the display is great
because I regret buying it because of display
So its 120hz and vivid, but 380 ppi is not enough even in mid range
So, I bought s24fe last week after I had xiaomi 12t pro for 2 years.
Honestly, using 12t pro is much better experience because of 120w charging and higher resolution display
S24fe with 1080p on 6,7 inch feels low end
And nebody had problems with it?? Some reviewers said you can't feel the diference comparing to 1440p on s24+?? I fell huge diference comparing to 1240p on 12t pro

S24fe looks much better and built quality is better than t12 pro, and also s24fe is more fluid in average using

But as I sad, 1080p makes it feel like downgrade from 12t pro tbh :/

Is the battery life any better on this compared to the previous FEs.

Been using for a bit now.

Didn't think I would miss fast charging. Half a day of charge at best. Can't play genshin impact. Overheats heavily.

This delay for one UI 7 is appalling. 7 years of software update doesn't mean hold all software updates and release it on the last year. No beta program for one UI 7. Fe phones are supposed to be more developer focused.

Should have held off for the s25. OnePlus is blocked in Australia otherwise a fantastic alternative.

Samsung should stop manufacturing mobiles with virtual proximity sensor in it. Very important and crucial sensor is not the hardware one. This is a huge problem for the users to use the phone under direct sun light or shade during day time or in pitch dark in night. phone behaves very weird and even it doesn't responds properly to our input.

I really think Motorola offers the "best of both worlds" but as you rightly mentioned the Edge 50 neo has camera issues in particular the slow shutter speeds.

mailplay, 10 Feb 2025Is this phone worth buying? What about Exynos? It's a decent phone if you can find one for $550 or less. Exynos is fine as long as you don't play heavy games a lot, but you will have to deal with worse signal reception than Mediatek and Snapdragon phones.

But it seems to have some issues with Camera app. Also, performance is just average. Still Gorilla Glass 3, though. Plastic frame, too. To be fair, it's impossible to find a smallish, decently priced and speced phone. It really is. I'd stick to the Pixel 8, if I were you. Save money for Pixel 10. The longer you wait, the mire value you get. That is, if everything is working fine on the Pixel 8.

Its motherboard went kaput after 2 years and its camera also stopped working. Their software is filled with ads.

I've had the Nord 3 for a few days now and i think i'm done with large phones. The ideal phone size i think is a Pixel 8/9 or a Xiaomi 14/15 or a Galaxy S23/24/25.
                                        My questions are:
Is it worth upgrading to a Pixel 9 if I have a Pixel 8?
And is it worth waiting for the global release of the Xiaomi 15? Or get the 14 now whilst it's on the cheap?
I have never considered the new Galaxy S25 series as they remain very expensive to me. And updates have been incremental. I'm happy to be proven wrong.
                                        S24 FE perhaps?
