Samsung Galaxy S24 FE runs Geekbench again, Exynos 2400 still in

Vlad, 12 August 2024

Back in June we spotted the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE in the Geekbench online database, rocking Samsung's own Exynos 2400 chipset, and now another version of the phone has been put through the paces of Geekbench.

Judging by the model number, SM-S721N, this seems to be the variant that will be sold in Samsung's native Korea. Like the other model, this too will be powered by the Exynos 2400.

The prototype that ran Geekbench had 8GB of RAM, and booted Android 14 of course. The Galaxy S24 FE could be getting official sooner, rather than later, since it's recently been seen listed on Samsung France's support pages.

A couple of days ago, a huge S24 FE leak gave us a lot of details regarding the upcoming phone, which confirms the Exynos 2400e SoC (that "e" might mean an underclocked version of the CPU). It will sport Samsung's One UI 6.1.1 out of the box, on top of Android 14, and will be loaded with the Galaxy AI suite.

The S24 FE is reportedly going to come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED screen with 1,900-nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, a triple rear camera setup (50 MP main, 12 MP ultrawide, 8 MP 3x telephoto), a 10 MP selfie camera, and a 4,565 mAh battery.
