It seems Samsung only gives 45W to 5000mah phones which is absurd, but like you said what did I really expect from samsung.

Sammy is really running out of ideas 🥱🥱. Why will someone choose this over the s25 ultra. It should have been priced at around 700 dollars. The battery is a huge disappointment.

To all the people compaining about battery sizes and confused, this phone isn't for you, lol. 🫵😆
The Edge and Ultra are different flagship phones for people looking at something better than the S25+ and S25. The Ultra specifically, is for enthusiast power users and gamers.
The Edge takes parts from of all of them:
Ultra's:
✅️ Small screen bezels.
✅️ Titanium frame.
✅️ 200MP main camera.
✅️ More durable front glass.
Plus's:
✅️ Shape and screen size.
✅️ 12MP ultrawide camera.
✅️ Storage and RAM options.
❌️ Same price tier.
Base's:
✅️ Light weight.
❌️ Battery size.
If this phone had a 4500-5000mah silicon-carbon battery and the 50MP telephoto camera, who would buy the Ultra?
It would make it an obsolete brick, now you see why it doesn't. 🧱

izzz, 13 May 2025im still using s23 and the battery 3900mah, it still can la... moreI think you are forgetting that the S25 Edge has a bigger, brighter, and higher resolution screen, and a more powerful processor compared to the S23. So while they may have the same battery size, the S25 Edge will lose battery quicker than the S23.

I feel like the purpose of this phone is completely misaligned.
It's thin and light, but big. It's big, but with a smaller battery. Who is asking for this combination? The purpose of putting up with a big phone is that at least a juicy battery is easily fitted. And this is expensive as hell for Samsung's lacklustre specs as usual nowadays.
I'm also very dubious about the comfortability of this thickness. The Galaxy S6 and S7 lines were thicker than this and if you grab one today it's not particularly nice to hold. If you put some pressure on your grip it almost feels like the phone wants to twist itself around out of your grip.

As I see chinese smartphone have bigger battery and faster charging.
Is that due apple and Samsung R&D policy or due to Chinese low restrictions

Anonymous, 14 May 20251440p 6.7" screen with a 3900mah battery ? This thing ... moreI am surprised at how negative are all comments...Samsung has thousands of engineers and testing staff...do you think they would launch a phone that they would know for sure would disappoint all their customers, like a ridiculous half day battery autonomy ? I am confident that it will last a full day with average usage, which is exactly what i am looking for...wait and see.
