I'll just tell everyone here, as a reply to you. It's NOT the same 200MP main camera as the one found in the Ultra series, it's smaller by a lot, it's actually the smallest 200MP smartphone camera sensor, and no that's not a good thing, and it's also not even the same sensor. The Edge has the ISOCELL HP5, while the Ultra has the HP2, the latter being a much larger, much better sensor. Both the main camera and ultrawide camera here are very average midrange level sensors, absolutely not acceptable at such prices.
Same goes for the chipset, yeah it's the 8 Elite that looks to be the same as the one found in the other S25 series devices, but it's not the same, it's instead the 7 core variant, sure it's not bad and still plenty fast, but when you are paying more you shouldn't be getting less of anything, but you are with this phone.

To all the people complain abput the edge here are the facts: 1) Just like how not everyone uses the spen, not everyone uses the 100x zoom, not everyone uses the gluph on nothing, how not everyone uses IR blasters this phone too is not for everyone. Its for people who prefer kind of thinner phones, who wouldnt care much about battery life ( many dont care). This phone is kinda of like a useful phone with no unnecessary features. Thw reason Samaung isnt using Si/c is beause its searching for any unforseen problems, guess it still has that trauma from Note 7 and good thing cuz Huawei themselves are facing battery issues with Si/C and Ive even read many vivox200 isers saying their battery drains and charges at a slow rate . And no its not that if Apple uses it Samaung would copy, normally its the reverse ( no hate). Si/c is for now China specefic and it wluld take time for other companies to import it. Tbh many people Ive seen like it. The battery drain test reaults gace that it secured between s25 and s25+. I get the hate is mostly due to the pricing, qhen something gets released in the market for the first time it generally is expensive.

I tried the phone in a Samsung shop and loved it. Great big screen, great looks, quality main camera and super light. Will wait for the review from GSMarena, and if the battery can last one day of average usage this will definitly be my next phone.

First battery drain and temperature test done:
S25+: 7h 53m
S25 Ultra: 7h 7m
S25 Edge: 6h 50m
S25: 6h 44m
iPhone 16: 6h 11m
The temperature was between the S25 and S25+, no overheating...

The Samsung rep in the shop just told me the phone has the best autonomy of all the S25 Serie. They are ready to tell you all the BS they can, just to sell their phone. Sad thing is the regular customer will believe them...
Nonetheless i like the big screen / light weight combination, and i will probably get one, tired of my beat up S21.

163 grams, oh my god, this is super. I've been waiting for something like this for a long time.
If this is not a paid comment, try to find a phone weighing up to 170 grams. At best, it's the S25 or the basic, cheapest iPhone.
But this is not Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or Exynos 1480. This is a full-fledged Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship (probably with reduced frequencies for cooling, which is acceptable and even good if it works stably).
But - this model is 6.7 inches!

slim is good, 16 May 2025this phone is slim and has a great look and personality, un... moreright! being slim is all it has to offer, because it's pretty deceiving for its price. unlike most people here, who just refuses to be deceived.
