Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge launch postponed

Samsung has reportedly postponed the launch of its Galaxy S25 Edge which was rumored to take place on April 15. South Korean news outlet, ETNews reports that the decision was made in accordance with the recent change in leadership within Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) division.

The S25 Edge’s launch is now reportedly pushed back to May or June and Samsung will announce the device without holding an in-person event. According to the new report, Samsung has informed the three major South Korean telecoms about the change. Tipster Ice Universe also chimed in and corroborated the postponed launch.

We also get confirmation that the S25 Edge will be priced between the S25+ and S25 Ultra, with a starting price of KRW 1,500,000 for the 256GB model in South Korea. That may not be the case in other markets like Europe, where the S25 Edge is rumored to launch at €1,200-1,300 for the same 256GB storage trim, which would be closer to the S25 Ultra's €1,470 launch price.
