Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra gets certified with satellite connectivity support

Vlad, 11 September 2024

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra has appeared in some leaked renders yesterday, and now it's been spotted in the 3C certification database. This reveals that the phone will support a maximum of 45W wired charging, which is hardly surprising.

It will also, perhaps more interestingly, support satellite connectivity in the SM-S9380 iteration that should be headed to China. It's unclear if all the various regional variations will get it too.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm and weigh 219g. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, paired with more RAM than in its predecessor. All of its cameras are rumored to be identical to the S24 Ultra's aside from the ultrawide.

The S25 Ultra should become official in January, and at this rate we're definitely going to hear much more about it until then.
