Samsung Galaxy S25 will finally have more RAM and storage in its base version

Samsung's Galaxy S24 launched this January with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in its base model, which isn't really that great for a flagship device, compared to most of its competitors that went to 12GB and 256GB, respectively, or even more.
So here's some good news if you're interested in its successor. According to a new rumor from a tipster over on X, the Galaxy S25 will have 12GB of RAM in its base version, along with 256GB of storage.

The increased amount of RAM has already been confirmed last month through a benchmark run, and according to a previous rumor the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have 16GB of RAM for all of its versions, so that's definitely a plus too.

Of course do take all of this with a grain of salt for now, as we are after all simply going by rumors, but it's definitely high time for Samsung to up its RAM/storage game to at least be able to match, if not exceed, what its Chinese competitors have been doing for a while now.

So.. From my research it seems that the Snapdragon 8 Elite supports UFS 4.0 and above.. So.... If it doesn't support UFS 3.1, then there shouldn't be a Snapdragon version of the S25 with 128GB of storage. Right??
