Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup could see a price hike
Customers could end up paying higher prices for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series. According to a report, the flagship phones will cost more as component prices are rising.
The report states that pricing for crucial smartphone components such as the SoC and RAM is seeing a hike due to increased demand.
However, the price hike isn’t limited to Samsung. Other smartphone makers, including Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo, and vivo, have also raised the pricing of their flagship models.
vivo’s latest X300 lineup, for instance, costs more than its predecessors. That said, Samsung’s price increase may not apply globally. The report likely refers to a hike specifically in its home market of South Korea.

The Galaxy S26 lineup is rumored to be announced at the end of February and could be available for purchase in March.
