Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro, S26 Edge, and Xiaomi 16 Pro's bezels compared

Have you ever wondered how the screen bezels for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro compare to those of the S26 Edge and the Xiaomi 16 Pro? No? Well, we have the answer for this question today anyway, despite the fact that no one's asking.

Courtesy of the well known leaker who goes by Ice Universe come the images below, which showcase the difference in bezel size across these three models. So let's start with all three side-by-side (Galaxy S26 Edge on the left, Xiaomi 16 Pro in the middle, Galaxy S26 Pro on the right):

Ice Universe says the S26 Pro's bezels are identical in size to those of its predecessor, the Galaxy S25, as Samsung has apparently decided to go the Apple route and simply stop trimming them, in a bid to save costs. Here's a closer shot of the Xiaomi 16 Pro (left) next to the S26 Pro (right):

Finally, we're also treated to a side-by-side of just the Samsung devices - S26 Edge on the left, S26 Pro on the right.

Ice Universe says the Xiaomi 16 Pro will have the most advanced screen technology in the industry, which greatly reduces the width of its bezels on all sides of the screen. Thus, the phone will have a very striking look, especially when combined with the extreme curvature of its corners.

Whether Xiaomi will decide to launch the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max internationally remains to be seen - previous Pros have remained confined to China but with the change in strategy this year (instead of one Pro we get two, in two sizes), perhaps that will no longer be the case. We'll have to wait and see.
