It's soooo good! I bought it from the car fair and... IT WORKS! No screen lock, no FRP Lock, no restrictions! I can watch YouTube and even make YouTube Shorts with it! 10/10, no cap!

This phone only gets hot after being used for a short time, even though only one application is being used and no other applications are active in the background.

Olami6553, 21 Aug 2025Please how can I upgrade to androld 13Try LineageOS 21.0 for herolte project (download the zip package of the os and google apps on your sd card), first you need to wipe the phone and activate it again to reset frp lock (don´t add any google and samsung account), connect it to wifi. Access developer settings by pressing Build number 10 times in a row, open them, make sure that OEM lock is off and USB debugging is on. Turn the phone off, enter download mode (Power button + Volume Down+ Home Button), connect to pc (install all basic samsung drivers) install TWRP through ODIN, there are tutorials online on how to do it. Reboot it to recovery mode (Power button + Volume Up+ Home Button), Format the system (very important). Insert SD card, install previously mentioned Zip Archives. Wipe data and restart the phone.
Done! (The method works only on Exynos version)

This is the best phone yes but what I don't understand is that why it doesn't allow my sim card to go through and work
I am so mad for that

This is one of the best phones I've ever had, it has a great display, excellent build quality, camera, and decent battery, also very durable. My only problem with it is that now it has overheating issue, burn-in issue, and battery issue, but it's still working and I'm using it to make this comment right now :)

still think this is one of the most beautiful phones ever. might get one and flash a custom rom on it, i heard the one ui 2.5 port is damn near flawless.

I still have this phone in 2025 since 2017 and it is still my main phone
the CPU is still better than most budget phones
i have an android 14 custom ROM installed and it is far smoother than the stock rom
the only issue is that it overheats even while watching YouTube, but disabling the p cores fixed, but without them the phone is very laggy when playing games
it also handles side drops extremely well, dropped the phone about 150 times, but only the lower portion of the display is cracked
a qhd display is very expensive today, thankfully I got this phone for only 300 euros

I've never seen a phone so versatile and hardworking and very fast throughout the years like s7. Wish it was able to upgrade to 10. But at the moment I'll stick to mine. Mine is made by sprint USA version. I got the latest A series of Samsung. But I still stick to my s7 for the hard tasks and fast.

Up to today using 3 Samsung S7 devices... all these years not a single problem exept some new app´s are not compatible... Lovin them and stay with them until the end.

Good but 32 GB internal storage were appropriate in 2010, not 2016.
No 64 GB variant was shipped to Europe.

I played so much pubg all buttons with the slightest tint of white managed to get the screen burn-in's lmao

PROTIP: Turn off power saving mode if you want the camera to launch faster.
Sadly, Samsung did not exempt the camera from power saving mode. I assumed they were smart enough to do it but they didn't.

The battery is pretty useless at this point - as to be expected - and that's my only gripe. For everything else it's great. The camera is fast and excellent. When I moved to this phone I thought it was huge. I since picked up an S10+ and the form factor is too limiting for me to use it as an actual phone - it's just too large. So the S7 keeps on going. It will have to well and truly die, or I get a good offer on a Pixel 8a or something to migrate away from it.
