Gino76, 16 Jul 2017Sounds like the same issues I had when I had the old Z5, Z5... moreyes...from z1 till xz in all this years they could not resolve the heating problem...i mean...come one..is so hard? jesus ...o..and i almost forgout..the sound is better on my s7 even do xz has stereo , the s7 is twice as louder as the xz...kinda strange :))) the one + xz has over the s7 ..is that xz has 7.1.1 and s7 is still on 7.0 but that is the last thing u should consider when pick between s7 and xz

1) camera, as i said the xz losses only in lowlight photography since the Galaxy s7 is using a sony camera sensor with larger pixel size, but everything else the xz with the triple camera sensor technology it is superior or tied especially in the video image stabilization and the natural color reproduction and exposure balancing where Samsung always fail.
2)performance, although the xz 3GB of ram only the xz manages to have excellent performance without any issues, the s7 even stutters sometimes, the graphics performance gaming and etc the adreno 530 is superior to the Mali in the Galaxy s7 proven on YouTube.
3)the battery, yes the Galaxy s7 has slightly better battery life but only the first 6 months before it starts degrading, the battery of the xz with the battery care feature, Qnovo adaptive charging etc it will serve perfectly for at least 2 years before it starts degrading.
4) the selfy camera, the selfy camera of the Galaxy s7 is no where even close in any category to the 13mp selfy of the xz, search on YouTube.
5)the audio, the Sony Xperia xz has front facing stereo speakers with the high resolution audio tech from Sony, the s7 has one mono speaker at the bottom.
Anything else, i can serve with pleasure.

Gino76, 15 Jul 2017This phone's price has come down since last year and in ter... morei have both of them ...s7 and xz ...i would pick s7 for sure .. i had to many problems with the xz...overheating , camera shutting down after just a few minutes of filming in 4k mode and in fullhd mode with 60 fps , 85% ram usage all the time , when heats up it lags like crazy

This phone's price has come down since last year and in terms of long-term/great value, camera performance (no lag) & quality, multitasking & app opening (no reload), speakers output, the most bands & frequencies i.e speedier 4G LTE speeds and the most important which are constant & continous updates which would u choose between the old Galaxy S7 or the Xperia XZ?

I purchased Samsung Galaxy S7 mobile through Emax Sohar in Oman.Well after six-month display top of the device got discolored within the warranty period.Now Samsung customer center wanted me to pay the amount for repairs.
I tried looking for other people with this, and I found the same issue in Samsung Galaxy S6 on the web. Have any of you seen this before on S7? I wanted to know what ultimately happened when the phone was taken back to the provider? Was it fixed, was it replaced under warranty?
I called customer service and very poor customer service and worst experience I ever had with them. This has been my worst experience ever. I have been a Samsung user for the last many years but this experience alone is enough to make me switch to another device as this was just too much...

S7 has Optical Image stabilization, Better camera, Better screen, better processor. A5 has dual sims and dedicated sd card slot while S7 has hybrid slot. S7 will get most future updates while A5 2017 will get less and late for example it's still running marshmallow.

If you wanna buy then buy only G930F or FD, Don't buy Tmobile or At&t because snapdragon powered Galaxy s7 has some problems like poor battery life etc. If you are buying new, then good but if used then please buy in warranty or having expired warranty card, box and complete accessories. Hope this will help.

aTrueBbLover, 11 Jul 2017After many suggestion from friends and users out here I fin... moreIt's one of the best smartphone of 2016, as far as durability is concerned, it's not as fragile as it seems, but for better protection use hard back case of some good company and protector on screen. It is still better than many smartphones announced in 2017 in this price range 400 to 450 USD. It's far better then J series and A series 2017 and hopefully there are some features in this phone which are not coming in mid range smartphones anytime soon, Like Dual pixel camera, S7 like display and sensors.
