BSmart, 11 Dec 2017To the guy who comments on his own endless pages of confusi... moreI have used bunch if smartphones just to inform you, the auto brightness is buggy, when it isn't required to be bright it becomes very bright, that's what I wanted to say... Auto brightness should adjust according to the environment that surrounds it and not by the light that's beside you... One thing is that I never needed to adjust the brightness manually but now I need to...
And secondly on the op3 if the brightness cranks upto 100% then you could adjust it manually, in S7 if the brightness cranks upto 100%, you just cannot lower it down...
These trivial problems if not present make the experience wonderful, which was the case with op3 and not the S7... Also my phone is on the latest update with all the apps updated...
It just cannot last 20+ hours on heavy usage, and come on its just 3000 mah, don't talk as if its 5000mah... Just some chatting, switching between apps brings the battery down very quickly... Just streaming a video on voot for 45min brings the battery down about 20%...
Being a touchwiz/sam exp fanboy, you should know that the battery saver mode on touchwiz limits the usage of the CPU to provide better battery... Why should one compromise on performance...
I'm not just uttering rubbish, I have experienced it and what is bad is bad... Its okay if you're a sammy fanboy, but I'm no more... And btw, haven't used a oneplus phone, then have a hands on and see how its UI is, they have actual features than these samsung gimmicks... And even after 10 months of usage, I never had to perform alternatives like resetting the phone if the apps misbehave... The UI was that good... Never used it? Don't comment...

Bought the phone in October'17. Earlier it used to take 2 hrs to fully charge now it takes 2 hrs 45 mins to 3 hrs to fully charge. Is anyone facing the same problem and what is the solution to this problem. I still haven't updated the October security patch.

Its a smartphone..try to be smart to use it..complaining of auto brightness changing as it adapts and comparing it to manual brightness of OP not changing!!!?? WTF man? Pretty much all ur problems are trivial..update ur apps/format ur fone..tweak the device and battery wl last fr atleast 20+hrs.that includes mails..browsing over 4G data/wifi..HD games .photo/video shoots..music ..its 3000mah man..u got customizable power saving mode n u r crying about touchwiz/samsung exp n 2k display eating battery? Been using it for the same period..exchanged it fr my s6 n all i can say is samsung has the most customizable UI handy features! Try to sync with it rather than spreading misconception/biased views.

how about using it for daily normal... moreThe display resolution is 2k, you can downgrade it further to 1080p and 720p...
It depends on your usage, the way I use it, I have to charge it almost 2 times and sometimes even 3 times a day and the backup is degrading significantly so after a few months it can be 4-5 times...
If you game, then don't even expect good battery life... Just keep it on charging after a 2 hour gaming session or even less...
