I got update to 7.0 out of box and i have had no problems at all. Its better than marsmallow. It feels smoother. No battery problems. Performance is good. This phone is amazing i have to say. Gld i own this phone. I was gona go for s8. But picked s7 edge and i love that you can buy diff themes to change from time to time. Really happy with it.

I have s7 not edge and a5 2017 and i usually use a5 2017 that for experience 8.1 who has a lot more features..like dual messages and others.
Only favour of s7 is camera record with 4k and ios and is about 2 or 3 sekonds faster in opening gaming.
In photo if you have light you can do more beauty photo with a5.

A lot of pros
Rear camera is awesome; 4K videos are very good and smooth
1080p/60fps videos are great
Excelente speed and response
Excelente screen
The only negative point is the front camera, allways seems like with filters

A Knox counter with 0x0 means original unmodified Samsung firmware, anything else means the phone has been flashed with something else or has been rooted which would be why you can't get anymore updates. Google "How to check Knox counter" for step by step directions.
Anyone looking to buy a second hand Samsung phone the first thing they should check is the Knox counter.

The Nougat is much worse, I experienced much more battery drain and decreased SOT. I can not reach more than 5,5h SOT on Nougat ( in Marshmallow 6,5-7h was standard) with the same usage of my S7 edge. I hope I helped something..

Hi Guys , please I just bought S7 Edge and (the model no. "Inside about phone" Is SM-G935T) but it doesn't show or has any T-Mobile Logo when you power it on or on anywhere on the hardware ( though it has SM-G935FZAAFG on the carton ) unfortunately it's still running on android 6.0.1 and when I search for new update ,it will tell me that my device is up to date .please how can I update this device to android 7.0 cos it's driving me crazy . I'm thinking of returning it back please someone help me .

HI guys ,please I just bought S7 Edge ,but it's still running on android 6.0.1 ,I searched to see if I can get Nugat update ,but it says "No update available " please I want to know what the problem could be ,or it that Android 7 is not yet available for s7 edge ? Please waiting for someone to clear me asap . Thanks guys !!
