I had a z3 mini, awesome phone until the screen broke alone during night charging. Sony refuse to take it on warranty, repair cost 200 $, and you can check on the web that it's a super common issue.
Since the Z5 have the same screen techno, if you like to play roulette with your money, do so but keep your advice, TY

@ Paul R, Are you in the mobile phone business? I'm not understanding why would Samsung admit/deny the existence rumored devices to someone calling in and asking unless they were in the business and then still maybe not.
This is not meant to be rude. I really want this device to exist and come out soon. I'm just trying to decide how reliable the "it's in the works" statement is before deciding if I should give up hope on this actually coming out and try to figure out what available not so great option to go with.

Compact smartphones are fun and convenient, why not have a mini of the latest and greatest, Samsung Galaxy s7.

It's pretty much game over guys,they are deaf to customers just as they were when everybody was telling them that their phones are ugly like s**t.
It's gonna take years and billions until someone at Samsung wakes up.
I'm changing my option too.

And I´m going to buy S4 mini tomorrow. It´s still available in stores and it is the max size of a phone - everything else is a tablet.

So much for the hype since s7 launched until now, 5 months down the road. I believe mini will never return ever, with the smallest A series being a mini version, although with a way too much dumb-down hardwares.

Well folks its been fun waiting with you, but after no "unpacking" today at the Samsung event, its safe to say this phone is never coming out. Congratulations Samsung, you've just lost a customer, decided I'm going with the Apple SE, at least Apple offers products consumers want.

I like the fact that they are making it 4.6 inches. Iphone SE screen is too small. 4.6 will be perfect. Called Samsung. They are working on this phone but no release date in sight. I think that it will either be this year or they will release one with the Galaxy s8 next year.
