DJ FROST, 29 Jan 2019i had an s8+ g955f and it wasn't a copy and yes it had burn... moreYeah if you're using a very bright setting with a static image over a period of time you run the risk of screen burn in. Have to say I've never had the issue myself. But to say it never happens or is only restricted to fake phones is not true.

On what could be a positive note, there seems to plenty of evidence that it's covered under warranty as I've checked the forums.

    have you guys notice, the s8 after android pie update it seems like it takes way better pic now, i mean overall it takes great pic, but it seems like the camera just got even better.

      scorpio, 29 Jan 2019No. Only on fake copies.i had an s8+ g955f and it wasn't a copy and yes it had burn screen, i dont know why but after doing research, i found out that its not good to keep you phone at full brightness you need to rest it, at least overnight in other words keep the brightnest low level or shut it off, well on the s8 series that was the first time something like that ever happened to me, i think its not all s8 but some of them.

                          Hi guys, I'm from the Philippines. I would like to know if this phone is still worth it. I'm looking for a from that has great camera, good speaker, great screen, good for gaming, good battery life, etc. Should I just buy some new mid ranger phones like Honor play or Pocophone f1?

                          Also, If I decide to buy the s8+ should I go for a used device or save up for sealed/brandnew phone? I mean does used device prone to some lag issues or batt issues since its updated to pie (coz I heard some issues with the pie update like batt drain)

                              Got the January 1st security patch yesterday. Funny thing is my friend has S9+, bought from the same Samsung store, both phones unlocked, but he still didn't get the update.
